To Know God We Must Know Ourselves!

God so wanted to experience a personal relationship with His people that He put on flesh in the person of Jesus to feel what we feel, and yet maintained His identity as God! But for us to know Him, we must know Him by the Spirit through revelation!

For what man knoweth the things of a man save (except) the spirit of man which is in him? [Man has his own spirit, but he needs the Holy Spirit to purify his spirit to bring him into the fullness of what God wants him to be and have] Even so the things of God knoweth no "man," but the Spirit of God. (1Cor.2:11).

We have got to come to know that we are more than just mere men or mortals. (St.Jn. 10:34) "Ye are gods!" (Ps.82:1-6). And the LORD said unto Moses, "See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet." (Exo.7:1) Glory to GOD!! When the term men is used, in many cases, it's not just in relation to the male species, but mankind which includes both male and female! We are gods! I know that some of you are thinking "What does she mean "we are gods"? The Word of God means just what it says, "we are gods". St John 4:24 states God is a spirit but He chose to manifest Himself in man. Jesus was god in flesh form so that makes God a man. 1 John 4:17 states as He is, so are we in this world.
Eph 5:30 says we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones. So if Christ is the head (and He is) and we are His body, that makes us one body. Then we also are god in flesh form and this is not self-exaltation. (Phil. 2:5) Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God. Hallelujah!

Please keep in mind what Jesus said to the Jews in these verses. They were ready to stone Him because He said that He was one with His Father. (St.Jn.10:30-34) He said, "Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?" The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God." Many people today can't handle this truth, but we must. Jesus said it and that settles it for me. Praise God!

Now that we have received God's Spirit, we can come to know the things that are freely given to us of God. Things such as salvation, redemption, wisdom, divine health, eternal life that we can have right now, to name a few. As Paul said, these are things we "speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural or carnal man can't receive the things of God because it sounds or seems foolish to him because the things of God are SPIRITUALLY discerned. (1Cor.2:13-14).

When we begin to see as God sees, the scales will begin to peel back off of our eyes to allow us to understand the DEEP things of the Living God that He wants us to see and understand.
I'll be sharing at another time. God bless you!!
