THE MAN - GOD!! - Part 3 of 3

Part 3
Last but not least - let's now take a look at you, the Church - the ecclesia, the "body" of called out ones!

You, or we, are not little peons running around down here with a great big God sitting off somewhere beyond the blue! We are his temple or dwelling place; we house him; we are the manifestation of him in the earth!

It began with ADAM, a group of people, male and female, who manifested God in the earth. After Cain slew Abel, Adam's wife bare a son and called his name Seth. “For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead [in the place] of Abel, whom Cain slew." (Genesis 4:25). Seth means substituted. Substituted, as a verb, means to make way for, or give place or way to another offspring, descendant(s), or posterity.

This was a people with their heart turned toward God as Abel was. You can tell that Abel was a God man because of the offering he gave to God! (Genesis 4:4) “And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering." Cain's offering was of the ground, but Abel's offering was a BLOOD sacrifice (the firstlings of his flock)! He was a keeper of the flock, which typifies shepherds or pastors who are over the flock of God! Great God from Zion!! He was a God man! So Seth being in his stead had to be a God man, a type of restorer or bringing back of people to God!

Genesis 4:26 “And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos; then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.” (Jehovah – the self-Existent or Eternal God) LORD comes from another root word HAYAH, meaning to exist, to be or become! Enos means mortal, frail, feeble, wicked, melancholy. This is the side of man that fends for himself. He allows the carnal or flesh man to rule instead of seeking God! That's why Paul said in Romans 6:12, "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body"! It will eventually kill you unless you obey 1 Corinthians 15:53: "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality"! (vs 54) "So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory"! IT IS NOT OPTIONAL! WE MUST do this right here and right NOW and not out beyond the blue!!

Though Enos's flesh was ruling him for a season, he had a way out of the mess he was in because of whose he was (the son of Seth who was the son of Adam and who had God's blood in him)! He had to subject himself to the power of the Most High, God the Creator, the Source of all he needed in order to overcome! The only way out of whatever you are going through is through the blood! God's blood has always existed because God has always existed! He is from everlasting to everlasting! It's just that when Jesus's blood was shed, it paid the price for all of mankind to be restored back to the Creator!

Take a look in Genesis 5:12: Here you can see how "men" began calling themselves by the name of the LORD!! Look back at the definition of LORD, which means to be or become! They discovered that because of the Source they had to look to, they could be the same as the Source, God himself! Not above but equal with! Jesus didn't think it robbery to be equal (the same) with God. Are you afraid to think with Christ's mind when it is written "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God"? (Philippians 2:5) These people had become God men or had the awareness they were the "man God!" To name a few: MahalaleEL; JAred (Yared); NoAH; JoSHUA (Yeh-ho-shoo-ah); SamuEL; NehemiAH; JeremiAH; DaniEL; EzekiEL; AbiAH; these were "God men!" DeborAH; JaEL; LydIA; Esther (HadassAH in Hebrew); SarAH were "God women!" There are others! Have you ever given any thought to the spelling and pronunciation of their names? Why? Because they were the "man God" in the earth, both male and female!

Psalms 82:1 "God standeth in the congregation of the mighty: he judgeth among the gods”! Both nouns, God and gods, come from the same word "elohiym" meaning gods, especially the Supreme God; the Almighty; Immanuel; God! (VS 6) "I have said, ye are gods"! Jesus said this in St. John 10:34. Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?" Ephesians 5:30 "For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones"! I John 4:17 "as he is, so are we in this world”!!

Colossians 1:15 refers to the invisible God, but he has made himself visible in "man" (male and female)! It is not that man chose to make himself God, it was God who chose to make himself man! I AM SOOO GLAD HE DID!!! What an AWESOME GOD!!

This REVELATION does not come from religious, traditional preaching and teaching, but it comes from INVISIBLE God making himself VISIBLE in you!

When Jesus walked the earth in the BODY he sacrificed, many didn't recognize him because of their carnal minds and spiritual blindness! They could not see or didn't know that was God in a FLESH BODY! But Peter got the REVELATION! He LOOKED BEYOND THE FLESH MAN JESUS and saw "The Christ"! He saw the "Man God"! In Matthew 16:17, Jesus said, "Flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven", with heaven being the higher realms of spiritual elevation, a renewed mind, a spiritual mind! Not beyond the blue!

When John saw Jesus in St. John 1:29, he said, "Behold (look) the Lamb of God"! John was seeing Jesus as the sacrifice! But when John, the revelater, saw him in Revelation 14:1, he saw a Lamb stand on the mount Sion and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads! John was seeing the result of the sacrifice! The Lamb and the thousands of lambs that had become one with him (the church TRIUMPHANT)! NOT UP YONDER, but HERE, IN and ON the earth!! Those that had become the MAN GOD IN THE EARTH!!

As you read and absorb this revelation of the Spirit God, the God in the Son, and God in You (the Church), may it bring you into the awareness that you, me, we are the "Man God" in and on the earth!!

THE MAN - GOD!! - Part 2 of 3

Part 2
Now let's take a look at the SON JESUS!

He was GOD in flesh form! (St. John 1:1) "“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (vs 14) "And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us”!

(2 Corinthians 5:19) "To wit (know), that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself."

(Philippians 2:5-8) "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men, and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross"!

Jesus, “being in the form of God”, is not in reference to body figure, but morphe - meaning he had the very nature of his Father!! “And being found in fashion as a man” means the same circumstances and conditions that surrounds and confronts mankind, which he did experience but conquered it all!

Hebrews 4:15 “For we have not an high priest which cannot be (or was not) touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points (spirit, soul, mind, and body) tempted like as we are, yet without sin”. Because he conquered and overcame, so can we. We are MORE THAN CONQUERORS and SHALL overcome HERE - not up yonder!

Remember, Jesus is the IMAGE of the INVISIBLE GOD! He is not God's IMAGE just because of the flesh aspect, but because he was God's representative, his delegate or agent manifesting his power in a FLESH BODY!

With Adam (male & female), God created them! He didn't create Jesus; he caused him to be! In Galatians 4:4, he was “made of a woman"!

God caused him to be generated (produced, arise, come into being) through the womb of a woman! Luke 1:31 "And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS”! (vs 35) "The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God"! That holy thing was that logos, that SOMETHING SAID came forth in FLESH form! What was said? "A virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel”, interpreted to mean God with us! (Isaiah 7:14)! Glory to God!!!

Jesus coming in flesh form caused the INVISIBLE GOD to become VISIBLE!! The Adam people also made God VISIBLE in flesh form; yet when Jesus appeared, that was the body prepared to die as a man to restore mankind or the creation back to God! (2 Corinthians 5:19)!

Jesus was the MAN GOD!!!

A good example of this is a molecule! Webster defines a molecule as the simplest structural unit into which a substance can be divided and still retain its identity! That's what God did! He put on FLESH as a man, but he still retained his identity as GOD!!

I'm just reminded of what he said in Isaiah 45:5, "I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me."

OUR GOD IS AWESOME!!!!!!!

We've looked at the Spirit God and God in the Son. The third segment next week will entail God In You, the Church!

THE MAN - GOD!! - Part 1 of 3

Part 1

I know someone will say, "You blew this one with the title because God is not a man!" But before you "stone" me, hear me out.

Colossians 1:14-15 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature."

First of all, let's take a look at the INVISIBLE GOD!

1. HE IS A SPIRIT! (St. John 4:24) "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

2. HE IS CREATOR! (Genesis 1:1) “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

3. HE IS OMNIPOTENT! (Jeremiah 32:17) "Ah Lord God! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee"! (This lets us know that GOD IS ALL POWERFUL!)

4. HE IS OMNIPRESENT! (Psalm 139:7-10) "Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall thy hand lead me and thy right hand shall hold me." (He is PRESENT everywhere at the same time!)

5. HE IS OMNISCIENT! (1 John 3:20) "For if our heart condemn us, GOD is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things"! (Isaiah 48:3) "I have declared the former things from the beginning"!
(NOTHING IS HIDDEN FROM OUR GOD!)

As the INVISIBLE GOD, he is Spirit, and as Spirit, he cannot be seen with the naked eye. But God wanted to be seen, so he manifested himself in "bodies" (flesh bodies of people)! In Genesis, he was manifested in the "man" (adam) who was both male and female! Genesis 1:26-27; 5:1-2).

Then in the Son Jesus, the “word was made flesh” (St. John 1:14), which became our DELIVERER AND SAVIOUR, THE LAMB! In that same verse it is written, "And we beheld (saw) his glory!" Now he is IN "US" (the church), CHRISTIANS. (Acts 11:26) "And the disciples were called christians first at Antioch." He has ALWAYS had a body! (Genesis 1:26) "Let us make man!" (St. John 1:1-2) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same (houtos means he, she, these, this man, this woman, they, us,we) was in the beginning with God"! So we too have been manifested in flesh form as people always has been and always will! That's how God will continue on visibly - in people! He is Spirit, and he is ETERNAL, but he will continue on visibly in people!!

We will continue in our next segment with THE SON!

Feeding the Multitude - Part 2 of 2

Part 2.

Now Jesus could have fed the five thousand without the assistance of the disciples, but he wanted to demonstrate to them how he wanted them to confront situations when he was no longer present with them in his physical body.

Let's examine Jesus's method of feeding the five thousand:

1. He Had The Crowd To Sit: God is a god of order, and this was a test of obedience. Christ had
commanded, and that was enough! He commands, and you obey without hesitation, reasoning, or arguing.
Mark 6:39 states they sat down in green grass. Green symbolized life and knowledge. We must rest in the green pastures of God's Word if our souls are to be fed! Mark 6:40 states “they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties”. In Luke 9:14, they sat in ranks of fifties. When you take one hundred and divide it by two, it equals fifty (“5”0). Fifty scripturally is Pentecost, and this is the time the Holy Ghost was given as a universal gift. It doesn't matter how you look at it, they sat down in the power of the Holy Ghost, the anointing of God!!
This is what the lad was carrying in his lunch box. He was carrying the ministry of God, the menu of God - five loaves of bread and two small fish, which represent the five fold ministry! The five loaves are the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher, and the two fish are the Jew and Gentile. This is the ministry set in the church by God to perfect the saints, work the ministry, and edify the body of Christ! (Ephesians 4:11-12)
Three plus two equals five. Five is ministry, and it's the number of grace. It was the dominant number in the tabernacle where God manifested his grace in the midst of Israel. Mathematically speaking three equals the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost plus two, Jew and Gentile (or you and me), which totals five. Understand that the lad represents us in an immature state carrying the ministry or carrying God's menu. Meaning, you may be a lad (not grown yet) coming into the kingdom of God, but the ministry is on the inside of you. But when you begin to eat from God's menu, which is the Bread (Christ's body), the hidden manna, it will get into your spirit and distribute the proper nourishment to every area of your life, heart, soul, mind, and body! Manna in Hebrew means WHAT IS IT? IT is the message of the kingdom in you and you in the kingdom!! St John 6:53 states “Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you”! This is the menu that will raise you from a state of immaturity to maturity and from a lad to a Son of God!

2. He Looked To Heaven: This was a form of worship. Jesus is showing himself totally dependent upon his Father. It's recognizing that God is Jehovah Jireh, our supplier of all things! (Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”! For it is “in him we live, move and have our being” (Acts 17:28)!

3. He Blessed The Five Loaves and Two Fish: It is only as the loaves and fish are placed in the hands of Christ that they are made efficient and sufficient! You have brought God's goodness and favor upon it! When you bless something, you cause it to operate exceedingly in its purpose, even if it's spoken by mistake (Genesis 49:1-28). Once something is blessed, you can't take it back. That's why the food multiplied and fed so many people and had twelve baskets left over!

4. He Broke The Bread: Bread given in large portions will cause one to choke. When given in small pieces, it makes chewing and swallowing easier, showing us that before Jesus gives us out he breaks us! Brokenness causes us to respond to the Holy Spirit in repentance! Brokenness comes as as result of man doing things his own way. It's an acknowledgment of sin. But “if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”! (1 John 1:9)

5. Then He Gave It: After the worship, the blessing, and the breaking of the bread, it was given! That's the nature of God in all that he does! He gives! He gave his Son! His Son gave his life, and that's the greatest love! This shows us that after he has processed us, he gives us himself with all his power, authority, right to use his name, appoints us, anoints us, ordains us, and gives us the MULTITUDE TO FEED!! St. John 14:12 “He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do”! HALLELUIA!!!

Remember, in Christ is unlimited power and authority to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us! Do not allow the lack of resources to blind you to God's unlimited power. He is the GREAT I AM, El Shaddai, The Almighty God, the power with all power and not a God in recession or depression.

When Jesus said on the cross, “It is finished”, that's exactly what he meant! He finished what the Father had sent him to do, and he has deposited himself on the inside of us (the church) to continue his work in the earth! What we must know and understand is that we (the church) have been equipped, called and authorized by God to feed the multitude. Why? Because we are now HIM in the earth because he lives on the inside of us!
