THE WEALTHY PLACE!!

TEXT:  PSALM 66:8-12:  (The book of Praises)!

Regardless of what you may be going through, you can find an answer in the Psalms: whether it’s in relation to: distress; prayer; praise; history; prophecy; promise; hope; instruction; comfort; guidance; deliverance:  you can find “RELIEF” in the Psalms.

                                                                                                                                 

As we look around today at the troubling situations going on in the world: politically; socially; economically; and ecclesiastically, it looks very weary and dark.  Despite these circumstances, God’s people are yet “in a wealthy place”!

●        Psalm 91:1  He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty!

●        1 Peter 2:9  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous (amazing; astounding; glorious; awesome) light.

YOUR NEHEMIAH SEASON

Nehemiah portrays Christ as our Restorer!!!  It is the 16^th Book of the Bible; 13 chapters; 406 verses, and c. 10,483 words.

Think upon me, my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people….

When Nehemiah led the effort to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, he put his life on the line to take a stand. Not only did he rebuild the wall, he also helped restore the people from the effects of financial hardship and unfair taxes imposed by cruel governors. Every imaginable enemy rose up against him, yet he persevered to finish his righteous task.

Many Christians right now are much like Nehemiah. They are fighting every imaginable enemy in an effort to stand up for what is right. They are putting their lives on the line, not only to spread the Gospel but also to separate themselves from the wickedness of this day. That task is becoming more difficult to do, especially when many so called Christians, friends, and family members are selling out to false and worldly ideals.

How many know that we have to make greater sacrifices than ever before to stand up for Jesus and His Word.
