TOPIC: “THE CREATURE IN MAN”!! (PART 2)

TEXT:  gENESIS 1:24: And God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind”:  and it was so.

Vs 25: And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps upon the earth after his kind:  and God saw that it was good.

Let’s take a look at these four faces as recorded in Revelation 4:5-7:

  • Vs 5: And out of the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices:  and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.
  • Vs 6: and before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal:  and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
  • Vs 7: And the first beast was like a lion (SOUL), and the second beast like a calf (STRENGTH - BODY), and the third beast had a face as a man (HEART), and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle (MIND).
Jesus said in Mark 12:30, that these are the areas that we must love the Lord our God with:

  • Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength:  this is the first commandment.
When we love God with all four of these areas, we can conquer all four faces of the beast personality that works in man trying to destroy him.
In order for us to conquer these “four faces of our personality”, we must look at what Revelation 6 states in relation to the “opening of the seven seal book”, which we are.

  • 2 Corinthians 3:1-3: Forasmuch as you are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered unto us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
  • Ephesians 1:13: In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:  in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise.
The SEAL is the “sphragi’zo”, which is a stamp or private mark for security or preservation; to keep secret; a signet used to give personal authority to a document or papers; it’s fencing in, or protecting from misappropriation; a stamp impressed as a mark of privacy or genuineness.
[The “seal” is what’s been kept secret within the bookWhat’s been kept secret?  “The mystery of God”!!  What mystery?  The truth that:  “GOD IS MAN IN THE EARTH!!]
[The only way the sealcan be opened, broken, or loosed is by the the sounding of the trumpet or the voice”, giving revelation of this truth of who God is and where He is and that’s in “man” (male & female) in the earthMan is the visible manifestation of the invisible Spirit God in the earth!  And once that revelation truth is given, if the hearer receives it, that word will bring them into the place of dominion, authority, and power that God has ordained for His people:  and the understanding of who we truly are, and who God truly is in the earth!  And if the hearer rejects God’s truth, then the “vial” (the judgment)  that follows the message will be poured upon them for destruction].
The conquering of the “four faces of our personality” is laid out in Revelation  6 with the opening of the “seals”:   (I’m only at this point touching on the first four seals):
THE FIRST SEAL:  [CONQUERING OF THE FIRST BEAST] (“FACE OF THE LION” - THE SOUL):

  • Revelation 6:1: And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, “Come and see”.
The first beast that said “Come and see” in Revelation 6:1, was the “lion” spoken of in Revelation 4:7.
In order for the seven seal book (which we are) to be open, the “lion personality” has to be conquered first, and then the other seals can be opened.
The opening of the first seal is the conquering of the “lion” or the “soul” or emotional department!
    SOUL: (lion) [emotions]

  • 3 John 2: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers.
(Prosper): (euodo’o) to help on the road, in relation to succeed in reaching; to succeed in business affairs; a progress (the route, act or distance); a mode or means.
(Health):  (hugian’ino) to have sound health, be well (in body); to be uncorrupt (true in doctrine): be sound, be whole (some), (safe and sound).
This verse lets us know that our prosperity is not hinged on how much wealth we have, but our prosperity hinges on how prosperous we are in our “soul” (emotional) department which will cause us to live in health in mind and body.
  • Proverbs 15:13: A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance:  but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
  • Proverbs 17:22: A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:  but a broken spirit dries the bones.
  • Isaiah 26:3: Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee:  because he trusts in thee.
SOUL is from the root word psuche’, meaning breath, in relation to spirit, but it’s on the level of the irrational and mortal soul
There is an animalistic nature in man that can only be tamed by the Holy Ghost!  Several scriptures were used describing man in that manner:

  • Matthew 23:33: [woes upon the Pharisees]: You serpents, you generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of hell?
  • Mark 7:27: Jesus said unto the Syrophoenician woman, “Let the children first be filled:  for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs”.
  • Jude 10: But these speak evil of those things which they know not:  but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves.
  • Revelation 22:14-15: Blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.  For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie.
The “soul”, the emotional department of man, or the “lion aspect”, is the part that does a lot of roaring. That’s the part of man that wants to get even with someone for what they said or may have done to him or her.  It makes you pace the floor when you’re angry or worried about something.  When that happens it causes adrenalin to be pumped into the blood stream and forms what is called cholesterol which is not healthy for the body at high levels!  That’s why we must tame that “lion” (those roaring emotions), so that he (that lion aspect) can relax.

  • 1 Peter 5:8: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.
[That devil, is that roaring lion that walks about in people, when they get upset and angry about every little thing, because it’s his way (that roaring lion) of trying to “devour” us emotionally because it will affect us physically (ulcers; high blood pressure, etc)]!
You don’t see “lions” walking up and down the street cursing and carrying on, but you see that aspect working in people when they get angry!
But we’ve got to kill that “lion” so that he won’t consume us and the only way that can happen is we must allow the “Lamb”, the “love” personality of God to stand up in us and conquer that lion aspect in us!
  • Revelation 5:4-6: And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book neither to look thereon.  And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not:  behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.  And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
These four faces of our personality, “the lion” (soul), “the calf” (body or strength), “the face as a man” (the heart or spirit), and the “flying eagle” (the mind), has been killing the “Lamb” personality of Christ in us for years, and it’s time we allow the “love personality of Jesus Christ” to stand up in us and conquer those areas so that we can live victoriously in and for God!!!
How do we conquer that “lion”?

  • Revelation 6:2: And I saw, and behold a white horse:  and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him:  and he went forth conquering and to conquer.
When the “soul” (emotions-lion) is conquered, then the “white horse” and his rider can ride forth out of us!
Horses in scripture, symbolizes “strength”.  This “horse” is “white”, which is a horse of “light”.  White is from the root word leukos’, meaning “light”.  This is the showing forth of the righteousness of God in His people that have come to the place of strength and power in God!

  • Zechariah 10:3: For the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock, the house of Juda, and hath made them as his goodly horse in battle!
  • Luke 10:19: I give unto you power over all the power of the enemy; and you shall tread on serpents and on scorpions; and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
  • Revelation 19:8: And to her (the church) was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white (light):  for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
The “rider” of this horse is carrying a “bow”, not a “bow and arrow”, but a “bow”.  This word “bow” is from the root word “tik’to”, meaning to produce (from seed, as a mother, plant, earth, etc): to bear; be born; bring forth; be delivered; be in travail.
The “mother” is the bond of the family, and is able to reproduce and bring forth “sons of God” for His kingdom!  The “rider of this horse” is the “matured sons of God” coming forth in the reproduction of Christ in His “love personality” with the ability to reproduce other sons of God and cause them to travail and bring forth other sons of God!

  • Galatians 4:19: My little children of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you!

Revelation 6:2: And a crown was given unto him

There are several “crowns” mentioned in scripture and the good news is “you don’t have to die and sail off beyond the blue to get them”, you can have them right here and right now!!

  • 1 Corinthians 9:25: (the incorruptible crown)
  • 1 Thessalonians 2:19: (crown of rejoicing)
  • 2 Timothy 4:8: (crown of righteousness)
  • James 1:12: (crown of life)
  • Revelation 14:14: (golden crown)
We can have all these crowns NOW!  Hallelujah!!!
Crown is from the root word “steph’anos”, meaning, a chaplet (as a badge of royalty, a symbol of honor).  A “crown” is that which surrounds or encircles:  denoting “the victor” or the symbol of “triumph”!

  • Revelation 6:2: This “rider” went forth conquering and to conquer (overcome; overthrow; subdue).

This is what happens when that “lion” (emotions – soul department) is conquered because the “light” of God in us is shining and will dispel the darkness!

THE SECOND SEAL:  [THE CONQUERING OF THE SECOND BEAST] (THE CALF] (STRENGTH-BODY)

  • Revelation 6:3: And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, “Come and see”.
Thecalf” is the immature state of man, the “lad”, until he comes into the fullness of the stature of Christ).
    • John 6 (Jesus feeds the five thousand):  Vs 9: There is a “lad” here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes.
Even though he was just a “lad”, yet he had the goods needed to feed the five thousandThe five loaves being the five-fold ministryapostles; prophets; evangelists; pastors and teachers (Ephesians 4:11):  and the two loaves are the “Jew and Gentile” being brought into one new man in Christ:
    • Ephesians 2: 15: Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace.               Once the “lad” matures from a “CALF” to an “OX”, then he can: “perfect the saints, work the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:12-13).
Revelation 6:4: And there went out another horse that was red:  and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another:  and there was given unto him a great sword.
Why Red?  Red is from the root word purrhos’, meaning, “fire-like, or flame colored”.  This is denoting the “fire” of God Himself.

  • Hebrews 12:29: Our God is a consuming fire.  Remember what John saidMatthew 3:11: I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance:  but he that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear:  he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire

Fire does one of two things:  it will purify or consume.  If we believe the Word of God and obey the Word of God, the Word will burn in us and purify out of us everything that is not like God. But on the other hand, if we fight against God and what He wants out of our lives, that same "fire" will burn in us and consume us.  It's better to obey God than to have to suffer the consequence!

  • Romans 6:11-13: Likewise reckon you also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof.  Neither yield you your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin:  but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Who was this power given to?  To them that believe:

  • St. John 1:12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of
God even to them that believe on his name.

Why to take peace from the earth?

  • Matthew 10: (Jesus chose His twelve apostles, gave them power, and sent them out to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils)(vs 1-10):
  • Vs 11: And into whatsoever city or town you shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy (if they’re not antagonistic toward their purpose accept their hospitality); and there abide till you go thence.
  • Vs 12: And when you come into a house salute it (speak peace upon it).
  • Vs 13: And if the house be worthy (accept your purpose for being there), let your peace come upon it:  but if it be not worthy (if they don’t receive your purpose for being there), let your peace return to you.
  • Vs 14: And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when you depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
  • Vs 15: Verily, I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the Day of Judgment, than for that city.
  • Vs 24: I come not to send peace on the earth.  I come not to send peace, but a sword.

(That’s for those that don’t believe Him and fight against the Word of God)!

  • Romans 12:20: If thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink:  for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head
  • Vs 21: Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Revelation 6:4:  Why the killing of one another?

Because “killing” is not always done with a weapon as a knife, and because there are those that refuse to walk in the “love” of God!

  • Romans 8:36: [Paul said]: As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:31: I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
  • 1 John 3:15: He that hates his brother is a murderer.

Why was there given unto him on the Red Horse a “great sword”? [The “sword” is the “WORD of God]!  This is a piece of the armor of God we must put on!

  • Ephesians 6:17: And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
  • Hebrews 4:12: The Word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, dividing asunder between soul and spirit, even to the discerning of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

(God’s Word cuts going in and it cuts coming out)!!

  • Isaiah 54:17: No weapon formed against thee shall prosper:  and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
  • Luke 21: (vs 10-13) – Jesus let His apostles know how hands would be laid on them and they would be persecuted and delivered up before the synagogues, put in prisons, brought before kings and rulers for his name’s sake):
  • Vs 14-15: Settle yourselves in your hearts, not to meditate what you shall answer:  for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay or resist.

The OPENING OF THE THIRD SEAL:  [CONQUERING OF THE THIRD BEAST] (“THE FACE AS A MAN”):

  • Revelation 6:5-6: And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see.  And I beheld, “a black horse”; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

FACE AS A MAN: (heart or spirit of man)

  • Proverbs 20:27: The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

Man has his own spirit which came from God, the neshamah’, meaning, a puff, in relation to wind, angry or vital breath, divine inspiration.  This “divine inspiration” God gave men was an inhalation to stimulate or impel him (male & female) as to some creative effort; or a motivation by divine influence that arouses (a thought or feeling) in (someone).  God gave man (male & female) intellect (the ability not to just understand knowledge but also to accept knowledge). He breathed "His very blood" into them which gave them life and they became a “breathing being” or a "living soul".  Leviticus 17:11: The life of the flesh is in the blood"!!

CANDLE: (niyr) to glisten (sparkle; shine); a lamp (the burner) or light - through the idea of the gleam of a fresh furrow; to till the soil; break up.

BELLY: (beten-beh’-ten) to be hollow; the womb; also the bosom or body of anything: within; body.

The light of a candle or lamp doesn’t have the intensity of the light of the “sun”.  Yet with that light God always sees what state man is in whether it’s “degenerate” or “regenerate”.  Because that “light” is continually searching (seeking out) what’s within the man:  within his “heart, soul, mind, and body”, that’s not like God, so that God can till or break up that old soil, plow a fresh furrow and plant new seed in the man and make him a new creation!

This is the same “breath” that the LORD God breathed into the man in Genesis 2:7, that caused him to become a “living soul”!  These people were already in existence, but when God got hold of them His very “breath” caused them to become “living souls”!  They were already “breathing” but God’s breath with His blood in it made them “living souls”!

Remember God’s Spirit is “ruwach” which is wind, a sensible exhalation; life; rational (sound); to smell or perceive; accept; touch; make of quick (keen) understanding.

When the LORD God breathed His breath into man’s (male & female) nostrils (from the root word “aph”, meaning face, countenance or “forehead”) it inflated and kindled the fire of God’s Spirit within him (male& female) which caused them to discern (smell) or become awaken to who they were in God and who God was in them.

The cerebrum of the brain contains five lobes and the one in the front (forehead) is the “frontal lobe” which is responsible for speech, personality, higher intellectual processes as concentration, planning, decision making, and verbal communication.

God’s Spirit which contained His blood gave them life because the life of the flesh is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11) and it made them of quick understanding of their “divinity” not just their humanity which they were delivered from as they walked in dominion, authority, power, eternal life, divine health, perfect peace, ruling and reigning over the creation by the command of God!

Though man has his own spirit neshemah”, yet he needs God’s Spirit “ruwach”, to tame the four faces of his personality and bring him into the image and likeness of God!

HOW IS “THE HEART OR SPIRIT” OF MAN CONQUERED?

LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT THE HEART: (spirit – face of a man):

  • Jeremiah 17:9: The “heart” is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked:  who can know it?

This “heart” here is not the muscle that pumps blood through the body, but this is the “leb” (labe), which includes one’s feelings, the will, the intellect, the very center of man’s being, his mind, understanding, affections and desires:  it’s that “inner man”.

The “heart” in its unredeemed or unregenerate state is deceitful above all:  “deceitful” is from the root word aqob’, meaning fraudulent; crooked; polluted:  desperately wicked:   “wicked” is from anash’, meaning to be frail, feeble, melancholy; incurable; woeful; sick.

  • Matthew 12:34: O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things?  For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
[Heart (kardi’a) the thoughts or feelings (mind); the middle or core of one’s being; the inner man].
[That’s why people say things especially when they get angry, and then say, “I didn’t mean to say that”.  But they did because it was in their “heart” and the “mouth” spoke it]!

  • Matthew 12:34: O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things?  For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Mouth is from the root word “stom’a, meaning “language” which the tongue speaks].

  • James 3:6: And the “tongue” (glos’sa) [a language] is a fire, a world of iniquity.
  • Psalm 51:10: [David said]:  Create in me a clean heart O LORD, and renew a right spirit within me.
David was saying God select, feed (as formative processes),choose, dispatch, make fat, within me a pure, unadulterated, uncontaminated, morally Innocent or holy heart and rebuild, repair, and refresh me with your Spirit or “ruwach” (wind, life, soundness, quick understanding) for your glory!
This goes right back to what I explained earlier about man having his own spirit (neshamah’), but he needs God’s Spirit (ruwach) to regenerate him and cause him to become as God is so that his (man’s) total man is perfected with “love” being the bond of his relationship with God and mankind, once its redeemed or regenerated.
REVELATION 6:5-6: And I beheld a “black horse”:
    WHY A “BLACK HORSE”?
The “black horse” denotes “famine” (an acute general and shortage of food).

  • Amos 8:11: Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD.
We are in a time now that the world has been in since the book of Genesis, the time that 2 Timothy 4:3-4 speaks of:  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
WHY DID THE ONE THAT SAT ON THE BLACK HORSE HAVE A PAIR OF BALANCES IN HIS HANDS?
Because we are being weighed in the balance of “truth and error”!

  • 1 Kings 18:21: How long halt (limp; become lame; immobile; crippled; disabled) you between two opinions?
  • 1 John 4:1-3: Believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God:  because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  Hereby know you the Spirit of God:  every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.  And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:  and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come, and even now already is it in the world.
  • Proverbs 11:1: A false balance is an abomination to the Lord:  but a just weight is His delight.
WHY A MEASURE OF WHEAT FOR A PENNY AND A MEASURE OF BARLEY FOR A PENNY?
The WHEAT typifying (“the truth”):  John 8:32: And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free:  “the message of the “kingdom”:  Luke 17:21: Neither shall they say, Lo here:  Or, lo there:  for behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
[The “wheat messengers” are saying that we can overcome and have the victory here and now]!!!

  • [The BARLEY, typifying (“the false doctrine of the religious system”]:  Colossians 2:8: Beware, lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

[The “barley messengers” preaches that our overcoming is via the grave after which you sail off up beyond the blue and go to heaven where God is].

His name is “Emmanuel”, meaning, God with us!

  • 1 John 4:4: states: Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Revelation 6:6: See thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
The messenger was saying, “Don’t do injustice, wrong, or offend those with my “anointing, my Spirit”, my chosen, those that are holy and without blame, the predestinated, the accepted, my redeemed!
Anything measured is “limited”.  That’s why I don’t accept anyone laying hands on me praying for a “double-portion” anointing!  I want what Jesus had:

  • St John 3: 34: For he whom God hath sent speaks the words of God:  for God giveth not The Spirit by measure unto him!  Hallelujah!
[I humbly say this, "I haven't just “WENT” but I have been SENT by GOD"!!!]

THE OPENING OF THE FOURTH SEAL:  [CONQUERING OF THE FOURTH BEAST] (THE FLYING EAGLE – WHICH IS THE MIND):
  • Revelation 6:7: And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, “Come and see”.
The “fourth beast” was the “flying eagle” (the mind)!
Under the law the “eagle” was an unclean bird, but Jesus used the “eagle” in the New Testament to symbolize the saints:

  • Matthew 24:28: For wheresoever the carcase (body) is, there will the “eagles” be gathered together.  (Luke 17:37).
The “eagle” is a majestic, strong, and powerful bird.  So when the “mind” has fulfilled Romans 12:2: Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God, then that “mind” can soar in heights of victory in Christ Jesus!
Revelation 6:8: And I looked, and behold a pale horse:  and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.  And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
This “pale horse” has the “gray ashen” color of death!  Why was power given to “Death” and “Hell”?  This is what happens to people that fight against God when He sends His Word to them and they reject it:

  • St. John 3:17-18: God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  He that believes on him is not condemnedbut he that believes not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
  • St. John 5:24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
  • Romans 8:6: To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12: And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion (imposters), that they should believe a lie:  that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
“HELL” is not somewhere down in the center of the earth.  It is a condition or state in which people are entangled in right now with worrying, frustration, torment of the mind, etc.

  • Psalm 9:17: The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
[The writer here did not say, “The wicked shall go to hell”, they said, “The wicked and the nations that forget God shall be turned into hell”]!
Hell is from the root word “ha’des”, meaning “unseen”, or the place of departed souls; grave. People right now are going through “hell” in their homes, on their jobs, in churches, relationships, with their children, their finances, physically, emotionally, mentally, etc.  Hell is “unseen” because it’s the “fire” of God burning within people so as to purge out of them things that are not pleasing to God.  If we believe His Word and follow Him, His Word will purify us, but if we disobey Him and fight against Him, His Word will consume us.

  • Matthew 3:11-12: I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance:  but he that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear:  he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.  Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
  • Hebrews 12:29: Our God is a consuming fire!
Fire does one of two things:  it will consume or purify.  So it’s up to us individually how it works in us.  If we believe God’s Word and walk according to His Spirit in our lives, that “Fire” will purge us and bring us to the place that we are like Him.  But if we reject His Word that same “Fire” will consume us!   Let us love God and our brethren, and obey Him.
Much of the “hell” that’s in people’s lives is because of what they’ve created with their own mouth:

  • Matthew 12:36-37: But I say unto you, “That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned”.
[The “day of judgment” is not a coming event.  It’s when those “idle words” we’ve spoken start manifesting in our lives.  It’s when we start reaping what we’ve sown from what’s spoken out of our own mouth].
But when our “mind” (the flying eagle) gets to the place it’s supposed to be:  Philippians 2:5: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  then the pale horse (or powers) of “death” has to ride out of us, and it will take “Hell” with it!!!

  • Isaiah 26:3: Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee:  because he trusteth in thee.
  • Romans 7:22: I delight in the law of God, after the inward man:
  • Vs 23: But I see another law in my members warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
  • Vs 24: O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
  • Vs 25: I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.  So then with the mind, I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
  • Romans 8:2: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
It was “sin” that brought on “death”:

  • 1 Corinthians 15:55-56: O death, where is thy sting?  O grave, where is thy victory?  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
And Jesus by His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension, conquered sin and death for us!

  • Romans 8: 2: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
  • Vs 3: For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh
  • Vs 4: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
We right now are the “righteousness” of God!!

  • 2 Corinthians 5:21: For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
It’s through the new birth”, being “born again that we are free from “sin” which brought on “death”.

  • 1 John 3:8: He that commits sin is of the devil:  for the devil sinned from the beginning.  For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
  • Vs 9: Whosoever is “born” of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remains in him:  and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
Therefore, let us put these creatures, the faces of these “four beasts” (the lion, the calf, the face of a man, and the flying eagle), under our feet, and allow the “Lamb”, which is the love personality of Jesus Christ to stand up in us so that Kingdom power is seen in us for the glory of the Living God!!!
