THE POWER (du’namis) OF THE “RESURRECTED CHRIST”! (Part 2)

  • John 11:24: I am the “resurrection”:  (anas’tasis) a standing up again; a resurrection from death (individual, general, or implied (its author), or a (moral) recovery (of spiritual truth); rising again; raised to life again.
“RECOVERY”:  [Synonyms} (regain; get back; redeem; retrieve; reclaim; salvage; recuperate; restore).
The “RESURRECTION” is a regaining, getting back, retrieving; reclaiming; restoring back to the place of spirit fellowship with God the Father that the Adam people had in Genesis before they fall.  And we can have and must have this same “spirit-fellowship” now with God the Father through Jesus the Christ!!!
[The good news is that we don’t have to die to achieve this resurrection, we must attain it right now while we’re alive]!

The word “POWER” in scripture has different root words with the definition that basically points in the same direction.  The same thing occurs with the word “RESURRECTION”.

[To name a few root words for “Power”]:

  • Luke 10:19: I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions:
(Exousi’a):   (in the sense of ability); privilege, in relation to force, capacity, competency, freedom, or mastery, a Magistrate, superhuman, potentate, token of control, delegated influence: authority; right; liberty; jurisdiction; strength.  [Exousi’a,  as a noun denotes “authority”]!!
  • Acts 1:8: You shall receive power:
(Du’namis):   force; miraculous power (usually, a miracle itself); power; mighty work; strength; might; virtue; mighty; ability; abundance; mightily; worker of miracles)/ (du’namai) to be able or possible; can (could); be of power.
  • Luke 20:20: And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor:
(Arche’):   a commencement, or chief (in various applications of order, time, place, or rank):  beginning; principality; corner; first; first estate, magistrate; power; principle; rule / (ar’chomai) (through the implication of precedence); to commence in order of time): begin; rehearse from the beginning / (ar’cho) (to be first (in political rank or power): rule over; reign over.
  • Ephesians 6:10: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might:  (Krat’os):   vigor [“great”]: dominion; might; power; strength.
  • 2 Peter 2:11: Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
(Ischus-iskhoos’):   force; strength; power; might; ability; mightily (y).  [Ischus’ means “to have, to hold” - denotes “ability, force, strength].

[To name a few root words for “Resurrection”]:

  • Matthew 27:53: And came out of the graves after his resurrection.                                                “Resurrection” in this verse is (eg’ersis):  a resurgence [renewal; revival; recovery; comeback] (from death).
  • Philippians 3:10: That I may know him and the power (dunamis) of his resurrection. “Resurrection” in this verse is (anas’tasis):  a standing up again; a resurrection from death; a (moral) recovery of spiritual truth; rising again; raised to life again.
[Being “raised to life again” is not after one dies, but it occurs while you’re alive.  Why?  Because it is us being renewed and restored back to the life we had with our Heavenly Father in the beginning before the creation fell, which is “life eternal or everlasting life”!  That’s why the people in Genesis chapter five were able to live so long, eight and nine hundred years, even after sin had taken hold of their bodies and brought on death, because prior to that they were living in eternity!  If they could live over nine hundred years before the “resurrection”, we should be living longer than that after the “resurrection”!  God has made it possible for us to do this through Jesus the Christ!
  • John 3:15-16: Whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Philippians 3:10:  [Paul stated]: That I may know him and the power: [(dunamis) [force; miraculous power] of his resurrection:                                                                                                                            (exanas’tasis) [rising from death]. It goes to another root word (exanis’temi), meaning to produce, beget; to arise; raise (rise) up.

  • John 12:24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone:  but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit”.

[This is coming into the true understanding or to “know” Him after His resurrection as the flesh and blood many membered Body of Christ”:

  • 1 Corinthians 12:12: As the body is one, and hath many members and all the members of that one body being many are one body:  so also is Christ.
  • Ephesians 5:30: We are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

Look at the part of the definition of “resurrection” (anas’tasis) that says: a (moral) recovery (of spiritual truth); rising again; raised to life again.

  • John 8:32: Jesus said, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”!               God want us to come to the knowledge of “who He is in us, and who we are in Him!  God want us to know that we don’t have to die to get eternal life He has given it to us through Jesus Christ already, and we can have it now and not die!
  •  1 Timothy 1:9-10: Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

Philippians 3:11: If by any means I might attain unto the “resurrection” of the dead.                       This word “resurrection” is exanastasis, which is a rising from death / also from exanis’temi, which is to produce, beget; to arise, raise up, rise up / and extends to ex, which denotes “origin” (the point where motion or action proceeds), from, out (of place, time, or cause); with, after; among, by the means of, by reason of, thence forth, through) / and finally to the word anis’temi, which means to stand up: arise; rise again; raise up; raise up again; lift up; stand upright.

But even with the different root words and definitions, the revelation in all this is this:  THE “RESURRECTION” IS NOT AN EVENT!  THE “RESURRECTION” IS A PERSON!  It is the “Man Jesus Christ” that rose with all power in His hand!

Resurrect means to restore; revive; rebuild; reestablish; renew; rehabilitate; reanimate; resuscitate; refresh. And that’s what Jesus Christ did when He brought God and man back together again through His death, burial, and resurrection!!!

In Christ we’ve been raised already raised from the dead or delivered from death:

  • Ephesians 2:1: And you hath (already) he quickened (made alive), who were dead (past tense) in trespasses and sins:
  • Vs 5: Even when we were dead (past tense) in sins, hath quickened (made alive) us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved):
  • Vs 6: And hath raised us up together (already raised), and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (right now – not out beyond the blue).

That’s what happened in the beginning in the book of Genesis according to

Jude 6: “And the angels (messengers) which kept not their first estate”:

FIRST: (arche’) a commencement, or chief (in various applications of order, time, place, or rank): beginning; principality (the territory of a prince; position or office of a prince; sovereignty; supreme power) / (ar’cho) to be first (in political rank or power): rule over, reign over).

ESTATE: (peri-per-ee’) through (all over); around; with respect to; used in various applications of place, cause or time) / (per’an) (to pierce); through, across: other side, beyond, over, on the other side, farther side).

An ESTATE is a status; rank; possessions (not just material wealth) but also that such as [knowledge; wisdom; understanding; dominion; authority; power; divine health; eternal life].

This means the morning stars, sons of God, that God spoke of in Job 38:7, and the Adam race of people in the beginning had moved out of that which pertained to the natural or carnal realm and had pierced into the spiritual realm of God having or possessing His knowledge, wisdom, understanding, dominion, authority, and power and was ruling and reigning over everything in creation.  They were walking in divine health, and had eternal life.  But because of disobedience to the Word of God, they lost their status and possessions which pertained to “Spirit” and fell back into that which pertained to the “flesh” or “carnality”.

Jude 6: “But left their own habitation”:

[They (the angels or messengers of God – morning stars and sons of God – Adam race) left their own oikete’rion, which was their residence or dwelling with God in the heavenliesthe place of dominion, authority, and power, ruling and reigning over the creation as God’s agents in the earth]!  They moved from life to death; from light to darkness; from immortality to mortality; from incorruption to corruption, from their divinity back into their humanity]!

The Resurrection POWER was Accomplished by Christ:

  • John 5:28-29: Marvel not at this:  for the hour is coming, in the which, all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life (zoe); and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
[Here Jesus can’t be talking about those that are in the physical graves, because you certainly can’t condemn them without giving them a trial first, they were being judged while they were alive]:
  • St. John 3:18: He that believes on him is not condemned:  but he that believes not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

He’s talking to those sitting on the church pews bound by religious order that won’t accept the fullness of God in them right now:

  • Matthew 23:27: [Jesus is talking to the Pharisees and scribes]: You are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
Luke 11:44: You are as graves which appear not:  and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.
[In these two scriptures, Jesus was talking to the scribes; Pharisees; hypocrites and referred to them as graves]!

To be “resurrected” is not just coming out of a “physical grave” that’s been dug six feet deep, but it’s walking out of that “grave” (that dirt statue; tomb) you’re living in that’s bound with all kinds of fears, frustrations, torments, poverty, sickness and diseases, old age, miseries, etc.

Death does not change man and bring him into “the resurrection” and “eternal life”:  but “the resurrection” (anas’tasis – recovery of spiritual truth) delivers man from “sin and death” and brings him into eternal life!!

  • John 8:32: You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
  • John 3:17-18: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  He that believeth on him is not condemned:  but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
  • Romans 8:11: But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies (that which is liable to die, but doesn’t have to) by his Spirit that dwells in you.

THE Nature of the resurrection: (character; type; essence; quality)

IT’S Incorruptible:

  • 1 Corinthians 15:42: So also is the “resurrection” of the dead.
It is sown [to scatter; sow, drawn or pulled, or planted]  in corruption [phthora’, meaning decay; ruin; to pine or waste; to shrivel, or wither, to spoil (by any process) or to ruin especially by moral influences, to deprave; corrupt one self, be corrupt, to defile, destroy].

To be “sown in incorruption” doesn’t have anything to do with the burying of a dead body in a coffin”.  Sown means to scatter, draw or pull, or plant.  We were first acquainted with that first man, the old nature, or that carnal man with that carnal mind that was geared, drawn, or pulled toward decay, ruin, old age, sickness, poverty, torment, and death that was planted in our minds by the teaching of religious order.  We were being governed by the teachings of men that depraved us of perfect peace, divine health, and eternal life, believing that we had to die and go to heaven “beyond the blue” to overcome, when we already are overcomers and more than conquerors through Christ Jesus, right here and right now!!

  • Ephesians 2:1-3: And you hath he quickened (made alive), who were dead in trespasses and sins; wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:  among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
  • Vs 4-6: But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we WERE dead in sins, hath quickened us (made alive) together with Christ, (by grace you are saved); and hath RAISED us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

We are in “heaven” right now in Christ Jesus.  You don’t have to die to attain to this, we have it NOW!

These definitions are typical of:  Colossians 2:8:  Beware, lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

[I pray you get this revelation]:  We were first acquainted with the “first man Adam” (that old man; the carnal nature) [the one that did what he or she thought they were big enough to do until we found that in all our doing we still needed a “Higher Power” to acquaint ourselves with who was “the Lord from heaven” (the Christ-Man on the inside of us that we had to let be resurrected) so that He could recreate that “first man” or “old man” and make him new so that we (the last Adam) could have the “new life” that we have now by the Holy Ghost!  When this happens “we are or our bodies are” “raised or resurrected”:

Again, I’ll say, “death does not change man and bring him into “the resurrection” and “eternal life”:  but “the resurrection” (anas’tasis – recovery of spiritual truth) delivers man from “sin and death” and brings him into eternal life!!

Raised and Resurrection is from the same root word egei’ro, meaning to collect one’s faculties (special aptitude or skills) so as to waken or rouse us from sleep (spiritual lethargy), sitting, or lying, disease, death, obscurity, inactivity, ruins, nonexistence, so we would arise, raise up, awake, lift ourselves up out of the pit of darkness into the marvelous light, from sickness to health, from death into life by the Almighty God and stand up with the divine mind of Christ so that we can live and walk in the strength and power of the Holy Ghost for the glory of the Living God!!!

It’s then that we begin to walk in incorruption or aphtharsi’a, which is incorruptibility, unending existence, genuineness, immortality, and sincerity (truth).

THE CHARACTERISTIC OF THE RESURRECTION: IT’S GLORIOUS:

  • 1 Corinthians 15:43: It is sown in dishonor:
Dishonor is from the root word atimi’a, meaning disgrace; reproach; shame):   [This means we were walking in unrighteousness without the knowledge of God in relation to who He is and who we are in Him in its totality]!
      It is raised:
Meaning our bodies have been awakened from spiritual sleep, disease, death, obscurity, ruin, ignorance by putting on or “letting the mind of Christ be in us” (Philippians 2:5).
    in glory:
Or doxa, meaning it has been made very apparent (clearly visible or understood; evident; obvious; manifest) that we the Church, the Body of Christ have been brought into the revelation knowledge of knowing by the Holy Ghost that we are God’s representatives, and ambassadors manifesting Him in flesh form in the earth, and have been made the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ! Our God is greatly esteemed and highly worshipped for who He is!!!

  • 1 Corinthians 6:19-20: What?  Know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own?  For you are bought with a price:  therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:  old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
  • Vs 20: Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Vs 21: For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
  • Revelation 4:11: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power:  for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Still talking about the CHARACTERISTICS OF THE RESURRECTION:

1 Corinthians 15:43:  It is sown in weakness:

Weakness or asthen’eia, meaning feebleness (of body or mind); malady; frailty; infirmity; diseases; sickness; strengthlessness.                                                                                                                                                      It is raised in power: (dunamis) the ability to do the miraculous through Christ Jesus and overcome all the strategies of the enemy.

  • Luke 10:19: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy:  and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
  • Acts 1:8: You shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:  and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
  • Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
  • Colossians 3:9-10: Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.

THE NATURE (character; essence) OF THE RESURRECTION:

IT’S Spiritual:

  • 1 Corinthians 15:44: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.  There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
[There is the “carnal man” and the “spiritual man”]:
1 Corinthians 2:14: But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  Vs 15: But he that is “spiritual” judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.                 [This is because the “spiritual man” is walking according to]: Isaiah 11:2-5: And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; and shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD:  and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:  but with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth,  and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.  And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins].
[We know this was spoken in relation to Jesus Christ, God’s “Anointed”, but we Christ’s Body is also “God’s anointed”, and “As he is, so are we, in this world”: 1 John 4:17]!
  • 1 Corinthians 15:22: As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away, behold, I make all things new.
  • Colossians 3:9-10: Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
[You know that body is spiritual when it can walk through walls; bullets can’t kill it; knives can’t kill it; sickness and disease can’t kill it; time can’t kill it; death can’t kill it]!

THE RESURRECTION IS Transforming:

  • 1 Corinthians 15:51: Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed:   Vs 52: in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:  for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised (egei’ro) incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
  •  Vs 54: So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
[This happens when the “eye of the mind” is filled with the “light” of God!  We see as God sees.  We are seeing by the Spirit beyond what the natural eye sees. This takes place now, not out beyond the blue].
  • Matthew 6:22: The light of the body is the eye (spiritual vision):  if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
  • Vs 23: But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness (skotinos) [opaque – not transparent; dull; hard to understand].  If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness (obscurity; error; deception)?

THE RESURRECTION IS Like Christ:

  • Philippians 3:21: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
(VILE):  is from the root word, tapei’nosis, meaning depressing (in rank or feeling); humiliation; be made low; low estate; abasement that’s brought upon us through ignorance, due to the teachings and traditions of men.
  • Isaiah 61:3: To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called the trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Remember what Jesus said:  John 10:17: Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.  Vs 18: “No man take it from me, but I lay it down of myself”.  I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again”.  “This commandment have I received of my Father”.  {And He did take that life back again by the resurrection power of the Almighty God and has given it to us, the believers}!!! HALLELUJAH!!!

  • Matthew 11:28-30: Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:  and you shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
  • Romans 6:12: Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof:  Vs 13: Neither yield you your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin:  but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.  Vs 14: For sin shall not have dominion over you:  for you are not under the law, but under grace.
  • 2 Corinthians 4:11: For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.  [Mortal meaning, that which is liable to die, but does not have to].

SPIRITUAL RESURRECTION IS Accomplished by the power of God:

  • Ephesians 1:19: And what is the exceeding greatness of his power (du’namis) [miraculous power] to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power (krat’os) [vigor (energy; strength; might).

BY Christ:

  • John 11:25: Jesus said unto her (Martha), I am the resurrection, and the life.

  • Ephesians 5:14: Whereforth he saith, “Awake”:
Awake in this verse it is from the same root word as resurrection and raised, which is (egei’ro), meaning to collect one’s faculties; to waken; rouse (from sleep; sitting or lying; disease; death; obscurity; inactivity; ruins; nonexistence); raise again; lift up; arise)
Thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
This light is (epiphau’o), meaning to illuminate, to shine upon, become visible, known, to appear.                                                                                      [Meaning, we shall show forth the glory of God Himself as His ambassadors or representatives in the earth, walking in His wisdom, knowledge, understanding, dominion, authority, and power, laying hands on the sick and them recovering, casting out devils, raising the dead for the glory of God]!!!

aspects - characteristics OF THE RESURRECTION:

  • Gives eternal life:  John 5:24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation: but is passed from death unto life.
St. John 1:4: In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
[This word “light” is (“phos”), meaning to illuminate or to make clear, explain, or inform.  So we must know what God’s Word is saying to us, so that we can live!!!
(Hosea 4:6) My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge.
  • Takes place now: John 5:25: Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead (not those out in the graveyard, but those sitting on church pews) shall hear the voice of the Son of God:  and they that hear shall live.

  • Delivers from spiritual death: Romans 6:4: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:  that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Vs 11: Likewise reckon you also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

  • delivers us from “physical death” as well:
John 17:2: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
[If the people in Genesis chapter five could live at least nine hundred years “before the resurrection”, we can certainly live that and plus “after the “resurrection]!!!
Romans 8:2: The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
1 Corinthians 15:54: So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, death is swallowed up in victory.  [This can happen right now, not beyond the blue]!

  • Ushers in immortality: John 11:25-26: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life:  he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:  And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die, believe thou this?
[This saying wasn’t just for Lazarus, but for us as well.  (Ephesians 2:1) And you hath he quickened (made alive), who were dead (past tense) in trespasses and sins.
Thank God we’ve been made alive in Christ Jesus]!!!

God has made us alive in Christ Jesus, yet there are those that can be classed as “the walking dead”.  For those that are in the body of Christ that don’t believe that they can live “sin free”, they are still dead.

Romans 8:2: The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of “sin and death”.

2 Timothy 1:9-10: Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

1 Peter 2:9: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Ephesians 2:6: He hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

[“Raised”] (is a type of resurrection):  it’s from the root word sunegei’ro, meaning to rouse (from death) in company with, in relation to revivify (spiritually) in resemblance to: raise up together, rise with.  And it goes to another root word sun (pronounced soon, which denotes “union with”.  Then it goes back to the root word egei’ro, meaning to collect one’s faculties; to waken, in relation to rousing (from sleep, sitting, lying, disease, death; obscurity, ruins, inactivity, nonexistence; rise up, rise again, raise again, awake, lift up, rear up, arise, stand, take up), which all happens for us right here and right now!

Leviticus 24:1-9: [speaks of the oil and the showbread]:

  • Vs 7: Thou shall put pure frankincense upon each row that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD.                                                         Frankincense is from the root word lebonah’, meaning, frankincense (from its whiteness) / then it goes to the word laban’ (la-bawn’) which means white, or to be (or become) white).
(This whiteness has nothing to do with skin color.  It is the light of God which is “the righteousness of God that we become”)!
  • 2 Corinthians 5:21: For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

THE RESURRECTION IS:

THE CHRIST IN US THAT’S “RESURRECTED” WITHIN US THAT CAUSES US TO RETURN TO OUR UPRIGHT POSITION OF RIGHTEOUSNESS!!!

  • Isaiah 61:3: To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
2 Corinthians 5:21: For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

JESUS DECLARED TO BE THE “RESURRECTION” EVEN BEFORE HE WAS “RESURRECTED”!

  • Romans 6:12: Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof.

  • Romans 8:11: But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you:
vs 23: And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption (placing as sons) to wit (know), the redemption of our body.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:53-54: For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then, shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, death is swallowed up in victory.
  • 2 Corinthians 4:11: For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

THE RESURRECTED CHRIST:

  • Can rebuke the wind and say to the sea, “Peace be still”:
Matthew 8:26-27: And he said unto them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith”?  Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.  But the men marveled, saying, “What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him”?
Mark 4:39: And he arose and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, “Peace, be still”.  And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
  • [Awoke the rulers sleeping daughter]:
Matthew 9:24: He said unto them, “Give place:  for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth”.  And they laughed him to scorn.
  • Can speak to a dead body and bring it forth out of the grave: (John 11) [Jesus raised Lazarus]!

The “Resurrected Christ” is the receiving of the revelation of who you are and walking in the dominion, power, authority, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel of the Living God!

The “resurrection” is not an event that’s to happen after you die and get up on “that great getting up morning of the judgment when Jesus comes back as it has been taught by religious leaders and still is”, but the resurrection has to take place while you’re alive!

Death does not change man and bring him into the resurrection and eternal life:  but the resurrection delivers man from sin and death and brings him into eternal life!

  • John 5:28: Marvel not at this:  for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice (in verse 25 Jesus said the hour (season) is now and they that hear shall live):  Vs 29:  And shall come forth; they that have done good (believed Jesus’ words), unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil (disbelieved His words), unto the resurrection of damnation.
(John 3:17-18): God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  He that believes on him is not condemned:  but he that believes not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

The Resurrection is a person: John 11:25: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life:  he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.

The “Resurrected Christ” will bring to pass:

  • Mark 16:17-18: And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

  • Luke 4:18-19: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.  To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
  • THEREFORE, BE YE RECONCILED UNTO GOD OUR FATHER, BY THE POWER OF THE RESURRECTED CHRIST THAT DWELLS WITHIN YOU!!!
