Definitions of God's Words! - Part 1 of 2

I firmly believe that for us to understand what God is saying in His Word, we must understand His language. In 1 Corinthians 2:13 it states that we must compare "spiritual things with spiritual" and this can only be done by God's Spirit. With that said, I'd like to share a few biblical truths with you so you can better understand. There are many to share, but I'm going to be brief right now and share more later.

1. Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
Here the word "beginning" does not denote a calendar date, but it is talking about a person, and the person is JESUS CHRIST! Read Colossians 1:15-18), especially verse (18)which states,"And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence"!Also read (Rev.3 14)"These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God!" HALLELUJAH!!
So this tells us that everything God did, He did it in Christ! So the beginning was and is JESUS!

2. TREES ARE GOD'S PEOPLE, which are a type of the righteous who produce fruit of the Spirit. (Mk.8:24) And he looked up and said, "I see men as trees, walking." (Luke 23:31) "For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?" Jesus was and is the TREE OF LIFE! (Isa.61:3)"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified!" Glory to God!!

Oh I'm so excited about the things of God! HE IS SO AWESOME!!
The Word of God states in Hosea that the people of God are destroyed for the lack of knowledge. This tells us that in order for us to live we MUST KNOW something! We must come to truly know who God is in us and who we are in God.
