TOPIC: “THE CREATURE IN MAN”!! (PART 1)

TEXT:  GENESIS 1:24: And God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind” and it was so.

Vs 25: And God made the beast of the earth after his kind and cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

[Take note of this, in Genesis 1:25, God doesn’t say anything about the “living creature” that’s mentioned in verse 24; but mention is made in this verse (25) of “the beast, cattle, and creeping thing” that was mentioned in verse 24].

GENESIS 1:24: mention is made of the “living creature”!

LIVING is from the root word chay, pronounced (khah’-ee), meaning alive; hence, raw (flesh); fresh (plant, water, year), strong; also life (or living thing); beast; creature; appetite; company; congregation; multitude; springing, troop.  It goes to another word, (chayah’) meaning to live; to revive: keep (leave, make) alive, give (promise) life, (let, suffer to) live; nourish up; preserve (alive); quicken; recover; repair; restore (to life); revive; (God) save (alive, life, lives); surely; be whole.

CREATURE in Hebrew is ne’phesh, a breathing creature, in relation to animal of vitality; used widely (bodily or mentally): soul; life; person; mind; heart; body; himself; yourselves; desire; man; themselves; any; appetite; beast; breath; fish; ghost; he; lust; me; mortally; one; own; pleasure; they; thing.

This “living creature” is also the species “mankind”:

  •  Genesis 1:26: And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:  and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth”.

  • Vs 27: So God created “man” in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
MAN is from the root word  adam, (aw-dawm’) which means ruddy, in relation to a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc):  Adam; hypocrite; common sort; low, man, men; person(s); [the first man] / The other root word is adam or aw-dam’, meaning to show blood (in the face); red; ruddy.
To support "the living creature" being "mankind", lets look at Ezekiel 1 (when God gave him the vision of the “four creatures”):
Vs 4-5: And I looked, and behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire enfolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire.  Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of “four living creatures”.  And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
Vs 10: As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side:  and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
This word “MAN” in Ezekiel is from the root word Adam or aw-dawm’, meaning ruddy; a human being (an individual or the species, mankind):  Adam; hypocrite; common sort; man; men; persons:  [the first man] / and goes to the other root word adam or aw-dam’, meaning to show blood (in the face); red; ruddy.   This is the same definition of “man” in the book of Genesis.  (As defined above).
The “living creature” mentioned in Genesis 1:24 but not mentioned in verse 25 is “the man” that God made in His image after his likeness in verse 26!

  • Genesis 1:26: And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:  and let them (male & female) have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth”.
Vs 27: So God created “man” in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[Scripture of proof that male and female were named "Adam"]: Genesis 5:1-2: This is the book of the generations of Adam.  In the day that God created "man", in the likeness of God made he him; male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called "their name Adam", in the day when they were created.
1 Corinthians 15:47: The first man is of the earth, earthy:  the second man is the Lord from heaven.
  • EARTHY: is from the root word choikos’ meaning dusty; dirty (soil-like) / goes to (cho’os) a heap (as poured out), ie rubbish / then to (cheimon’) through the idea of a channel), meaning a storm (as pouring rain); the rainy season, winter:  tempest; foul weather / finally to (chas’ma) cha’o (to gape, or yawn); a chasm or vacancy (impassable interval): gulf.
Chao is a take-off of our English word “chaos” (complete disorder and confusion).  Synonyms for “Chaos” are: (disarray; disorganization; pandemonium; madness; havoc; turmoil; commotion; disruption; uproar).
The “first man” was “man” in his earthen state (dusty; dirty; rubbish; in his winter season, asleep – without the knowledge and life of God in him man was in a chaotic state:  which is “man” in contrast to “God”, before being made in His image after His likeness.  But when God got hold of him and made him (male & female) into His image after His likeness, this is what made him the second man, who was the Lord from heaven.

  • 1 Corinthians 15:47: The first man is of the earth, earthy:  the second man is the Lord from heaven.
[The “Lord from heaven” was not Jesus – the “Lord from heaven” was the “man” (male & female) in Genesis 1:26-28 that God made in His image after His likeness, and gave the command to have dominion over the earth and subdue it.

  • And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness;  and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.  So God created “man” in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:  and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth”.
This was the “LORD God” that was in charge of the creation in Genesis chapter two.  The LORD God in Genesis chapter two was the Lord from heaven”, that God created in His image after His likeness in Genesis chapter one.
1 Corinthians 15:45: The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening (make alive) spirit.
[The “first man” that was of the earth was the man that God createdThe first man Adam” was the man the LORD God formed of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and he became a “living soul”] (Genesis 2:7).
The last Adam was made a “quickening spirit”.

  • Revelation 1:17: (Jesus is talking here – the last Adam):  Fear not; I am the “first and the last”
[Which is the power of the “Holy Ghost” (the Anointing) (that quickening or make alive spirit) that’s in us, Christ’s Body (the Church)]!
1 Corinthians 15:22: In Adam all die, even so in CHRIST shall all be “made alive”!
Though the “fall” gravely affected man’s “nature” , meaning, his inherent (innate; built-in) features, characteristics, qualities, attributes, which is love, righteousness, peace, joy, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, dominion, authority, being eternal, etc,  yet man had experienced a “fallen state” prior to the Adam race of people.
There were world’s here before the one we’re in got here.

  • Hebrews 11:3: Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
God is “Light” (1 John 1:5).  So everything in the universe is a product of “light”.  Everything we see is a product of “light”, because God spoke everything out of Himself!
So between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2, there were worlds here.  Genesis 1:2: And the earth was without form.  God did not make anything without form.  In its original definition it states, “And the earth became without form”.  So something happened between those two verses and Lucifer was a part of “the earth becoming without form”.

  • (Isaiah 14:12): How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!  How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations?
  •  (Vs 16): Is this the “man” (not the “Aw-dawm’ man” but the “Iysh” or “mortal) that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms?
[From religious teaching, I thought Lucifer was an angel with wings covered with colorful diamonds]:  but he was a “man”, along with other morning stars and sons of God that was anointed with the wisdom, knowledge, dominion, authority, and power of God that God was using as His agents or ambassadors in the earth, ruling and reigning over the creation]!
MAN is from the root word “iysh”, meaning an individual manbut he was in the position of a “son of God”.  Son coming from the root word “ben”, meaning builder of the family name: [reproducer of other “sons of God” for His kingdom].  It goes to another root word “banah’”, meaning to build; build up; repair; set up; have children; obtain children:  [which has nothing to do with birthing them physically, but birthing them spiritually]!
Ecclesiastes 1:9-10: The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done:  and there is no new thing under the sun.  Is there anything whereof it may be said, See, this is new?  It hath been already of old time, which was before us.

  • Galatians 4:19: My little children of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.
FORMED is from morpho’o, which is to fashion.  [Morpho’o refers not to the external but to the inward and realchange in character and conduct to correspond with inward spiritual condition, to bring about moral conformity to Christ].  It goes to morphe’, meaning, shape; nature.  Then it goes to mer’os, which is adjustment of parts; to get as a section or allotment; a division or share].

  • Hebrews 2:14: Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same.                                                                                                                                 The word “took part” as applying to Christ is an entirely different word from “partakers” as applied to the children.  “Took part” applies to taking part in something outside one’s self

  • 2 Corinthians 5:21: He who knew no sin, was made sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
  • Isaiah 53: 12: Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul, unto death:  and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
PARTAKERS: (koinone’o) to share fully with others: communicate; distribute[To have a share in]:

  • Romans15:27: It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are.  For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
  • 1Timothy 5:22: Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins:  keep thyself pure.
  • 1Peter 4:12-13: Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:  But rejoice, inasmuch as you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.
  • 2 John 10-11: If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:  for he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
  • Hebrews 2:14: Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood:

So that all of “Adam’s children” share fully in Adam’s flesh and blood 1 Corinthians 15:22: In Adam all die:

“He (Jesus) also himself likewise took part of the same”:

He (Jesus) “took part” but not all]!  “The children take both flesh and blood of Adam but Christ took only part, that is, “the flesh part”, whereas “the blood” was the result of supernatural conception by God Himself producing innocent blood in which gives life to the flesh!                       Look at the last part of 1 Corinthians 15:22: even so in Christ shall all be made “alive”:

This tells me that we now can “fully share” in “Jesus’ flesh and blood” and obtain eternal life, right here and right now!

  • St. John 6:48-51: I am the Bread of life:  your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.  This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.  I am the living bread which came down from heaven:  if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever:  and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.  Vs 53: Then Jesus said unto them, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood you have no life in you”.  Vs 54: Whoso eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, hath eternal life:  and I will raise him up at the last day. Vs 55: For my flesh is meat in deed, and my blood is drink in deed.
JESUS “TOOK PART or metech’o, so as to share or participate; belong to, eat (or drink):

  • Hebrews 2:14-15: That through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and delivered them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
    THEREFORE:

  • Colossians 3:9-10: Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
  • 1 John 4:17: As he is, so are we, in this world.
I said earlier that there was a “fallen creation” here before the Adam race of people fell and that Lucifer was part of that creation.  There were worlds here before the one we are in.

  • Hebrews 11:3: Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
[LUCIFER’S name is heylel’, meaning, the morning star.  It goes to halal’, defined in the sense of brightness, to be clear (originally of sound, but usually of color); to shine to make a show or boast; and thus to be (clamorously) foolish; to rave; to celebrate; also to stultify (to lose enthusiasm and initiative, especially as a result of a tedious or restrictive routine); to hamper; impede; obstruct; thwart; frustrate; suppress; smother; repress:  renowned
To define a few of these words:
***MORNING is from the root word bo’qer, meaning to dawn (as the break of day); early:  and it goes to another word baqar, meaning to plow or break forth, in relation to inspect, admire, care for, consider, enquire, seek, search:
***STARS is from kowkab’, which is a star (as round and shining); a prince:  and it goes to kavah’ (in the sense of blazing); to prick or penetrate; to blister (as smarting or eating into):  burned.
[Explanation]: Halal’ means “to praise, celebrate; glory, sing (praise), boast”.  It means “to shine”.
Lucifer was shining with the brilliance of the light of the glory of God!  He was a “morning star”, a “son of God”!
Lucifer was one of those that stepped out on the dawn of creation through admiration, consideration, seeking, inspecting and searching out the things of creation in relation to God and being endowed by God with His mind, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, dominion, authority, and power, and was able to plow with the Word of God and turn up new soil and plant the seed of God into old earth’s (people) and reproduce other sons of God for the glory of God and for His kingdom!
He knew how to praise God, and glorify Him – his boast was at first in God Himself]!  But when he became “renown” (famous in reputation), he was lifted up in pride, and wanted to usurp authority in God’s place, and that wasn’t going to happen and didn’t because God is the “Most High God”, and He brought Lucifer down!

  • Isaiah 14:12-14: How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!  How are thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken nations!  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:  I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
  • 15-17: Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.  They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, “Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; that made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners”?
He was amongst those that Jude spoke of:  vs 6: And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
So this tells us that there’s a “creature in the man” that needs to be tamed!

  • Ezekiel 1:5: Out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures.  And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man:
  •  vs 10: As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man , and the face of a lion, on the right side:  and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
Jesus said:  Mark 12:30: Thou shalt love the Lord with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with all thy mind, and with all thy strength:  this is the first commandment.
Revelation 4:6-7: And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal:  and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.  And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
BEAST or (theri’on, pronounced thay-ree’-on) is a dangerous animal: venomous beast; wild beast:  it’s also from the’ra, meaning a wild animal, as game; hunting; destruction: trap / then it goes to (theriomache’o) to be a beast fighter; also to encounter (furious (extremely angry; enraged; inflamed; infuriated; irate; violent; mad; fierce; raving) men).
These four beasts are the four faces of one’s own personality that fights against the “Lamb” (the Christ) within you that wants to stand up and rule over those four faces that’s been trying to kill Him for years.

  • Revelation 5:6: And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.
The “seven spirits of God” is a special anointing that flows from the “white light” of God’s “righteousness” (out of which comes the other six spirits):  wisdom; understanding; counsel; might; knowledge; fear (reverence) (Isaiah 11:2) that’s within us. These are the spirits that gives guidance and direction to the church that extends throughout the six dispensations of time into now which is grace and into the seventh which is the kingdom of God and will continue forever sounding the message of perfection.  The seven eyes are the perfect vision of God that saw the “ending” (fulfilling of all things) in the “beginning”!
It’s going to take this special anointing of God’s Spirit to help us conquer these four faces of our personality to bring us into the fullness of CHRIST in the earth!
