DO YOU KNOW HIM / KNOWING WHO YOU ARE

St. Matthew has 28 chapters, 1,071 verses, and 23,684 words.  It portrays Christ as Our King and a sign of Royalty.
Text (KJV):  Matthew 1:21  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS:  for he shall save his people from their sins.
Matthew 16:13-16
13) When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14) And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias,, or one of the prophets.
15) He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16) And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Verse 13:  Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

That’s a revelation right there - Son of Man.  You see Jesus was referred to as both the Son of God (Luke 1:35; Mark 1:11) and the Son of man (Matthew 12:8, 40).  When he was Jesus. he represented the Son of man; when he was Christ, he was the Son of God.  The Christ is the man that God created in His image and likeness, the perfect-idea man, and is the real self of all men. Jesus had reached a place in understanding where He realized His relation to God!!!

We see here in the book of Matthew that Jesus made a strong declaration to his disciples, Who do men say that I the Son of man am?  They answered naming some of the prophets.  Some say that thou art John the Baptist; some say Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
Then He said unto them again, But whom say ye that I am?
You see Jesus wanted to know if they knew Him.  When Peter answered saying, Thou art the Christ, right there Jesus blessed Peter because He knew that flesh and blood didn’t reveal this unto Peter.  But the great truth came from God the Father.  The spiritual idea of man, The Christ of God, The Son of God which is the Divine Mind (God) had revealed this to Peter.
So as we find Jesus referring to Himself as the Son of God, we see Peter also had reached a place in understanding where he realized Jesus’ relation to Being, (God).  In John 7:29, Jesus explains this realization when He says “I know him: for I am from him, and He hath sent me.
So the subject of this message is a question to you:  “DO YOU KNOW HIM?” and “DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?
Tell me do you know Him?……..Do you really know Jesus?…….Do you really know The Christ and His Anointing?………What a wonder!!!!!
To know Him is to have the facts, and facts are known to be true; facts are known to happen; facts are really a reality.  When you have facts, you know that you know!
Also to know is to have an understanding; to have the knowledge or information; I like to say revelation.  Because information without impartation will bring about stagnation; but how many know information with revelation will bring about a restoration, meaning to have an experience with.
To know is to be aware of; have seen or even heard; meaning you have some information about that particular individual or thing.  So you see:  “knowing” is based on our experience of something.  In knowing something, we do not have to think or speculate about it.  We perceive it so deeply within ourselves as true that we don’t even have to discuss it, and no matter what anyone else says about it, it does not alter our reality about it!  Whoooo!!!   It cannot be proved or disproved.  It can go to more and more profound levels of conviction, but it is generally only when we ourselves can testify to it.
Also, to experience something is to know it.  To experience something is to know it with a degree of certainty that it gives it more power and influence over our lives than other things.  I’m talking about knowing Jesus!!!
Common example: when the sun shines on our skin, we feel the warmth…..right.  We don’t need anyone to tell us what we feel…….because we just know beyond a shadow of doubt what we feel.  And that’s just the S-u-n…….Now what about the S-O-N!!!!  Having an experience with the SON - the light of God and the energy of His Light - can be as real to us as the warmth of the Sun on our skin!
We know that the experience of God can be felt in our bodies, and it is unlike just thinking about something.  It’s having faith in Him, and we just know-His-Presence-Is-With-Us!
Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Here is the point, people of God……I preached a message “I Believe”, and the message was about belief and faith.  We believe with our minds, and what faith does is to join our heart and mind together.  You see faith is not concerned with proofs. Faith believes in the invisible becoming visible. Faith says: I can believe in what I do not see!
Come here Hebrews 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
So now if belief is based in the mind and faith on joining of heart and mind, then what about knowing.  Knowing is based on the whole body- in our very being, itself.
Acts 17:28  For in Him we live, and move, and have our being……For we are also His offspring”.
Our being is our heart, soul, and body.  Our being is composed of wisdom, will and consciousness.  Ideas exist eternally in wisdom; (the idea a word contains gives it character and power);  they are made manifest through will; and that same manifestation is called consciousness (the thing made).
Let me break it down like this:  The law of mind action may be described in three steps-----mind, idea, and manifestation.  First, there must be mind; second, everything exists first as an idea in mind; third, the inherent power and intelligence in the idea causes it to act or express, and when it is expressed we have the manifestation.
You see……..Creation presupposes a Creator.  The Creator is God/Divine Mind.  God creates by the power of His Word.  God said……and it was so.  As I said earlier, The Idea that a word contains gives it character and power.  Every man forms his own world; its character depends upon the character of his word.
  • Proverbs 18:6  A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes.

  • Proverbs 18:7  A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.
  • Proverbs 18:21  Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

It’s your privilege to cease using all untrue words and to use only the word of God by which He will bring into manifestation the kingdom upon your earth.

So:  To go beyond both faith and belief into knowing that you know that you know….it brings each of us to a goal or point of experiencing God in a way that’s so real that it’s impossible to deny.  This knowing takes us past faith and belief into certainty. And when you’re certain about a thing; you’re free from doubt; you’re assured/you have the sure facts and are convinced of a matter!
Also:
To know Him is to be acquainted with……..meaning you’re familiar with that someone.
To know Him is to recognize………that means you can identify with.
To know Him is to be able to tell Him apart from others……meaning you’re able to distinguish between.

So tell me people of God, “Do You Know Him?
Do you really have the facts; the understanding; the knowledge; the information of who Christ is to you and in your life and who you are to Him?
Some people are quick to say “God don’t need you”…but I beg to differ.  We know God is Elohim/Creator and El-ELyon/Most High God, the Supreme Sovereign.  But we are His messengers today; we are His hands to lay on the sick; we are His feet that take Him where He wants to go:
  • Ephesians 5:30  We are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
  • Matthew 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Are you really aware of Him; do you really have an acquaintance with Him; and are you able to recognize Him and be able to distinguish between truth and error?
When you are faced with problems, disappointments, illness or tragedies where do you turn?                              How about when you’re exhausted from the toils of what life brings, where do you find strength?
Or how about when you just want to get away from it all; don’t know which direction to turn; where do you go?
A.  Let’s deal with the facts (known truth; reality).  I told you when you have the facts you know beyond a shadow of doubt that you know.  So to get the facts we have to go back to the beginning of the creation.  Before you can understand “the creation”, you must first understand “the beginning”.
Genesis 1:1: In the beginning Elohim/God created the heaven and the earth.
Everything God created, He created it in “the beginning”.  The “beginning” is not a calendar date but a person”, the Man Jesus the Christ”!
  • Colossians 1:18  And he is the head of the body, the church:  who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
  • Revelation 1:8  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
  • Revelation 1:17  I am the first and the last.
  • Revelation 3:14  These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God.

Everything began in Christ, and all things will be fulfilled in Christ.
  • Ephesians 1:10  That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him.

Genesis 1:26  God created the heaven and the earth.

(here for a moment we will deal with what God created in “the beginning”)

What you see from Genesis 1:3-31 had been here before between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2.  And because of the chaos that had taken place in Genesis 1:2, God Himself replenished the earth again by the power of His own Word when He said, Let there be, and He made, and He saw.  He was calling back into existence what had been before.

  • Ecclesiastes 1:9-10  The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done:  and there is no new thing under the sun.  Is there anything whereof it may be said, See, this is new?  It hath been already of old time, which was before us.

  • Hebrews 11:3  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

There had been “worlds” in existence before this “world” that we know about.

  • Genesis 1:26  And Elohim/God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.
Hebrew for Elohim is El- meaning powerful or mighty and Him-meaning God!!!!  God created by the power of His word.  As I said earlier God said…..and it was so.
The word of God is the divine Lo’gos, which is the creative power of God expressed in fiat (fi’at) which is a decree, “Let us make and it was”! The lo’gos (word) is inclusive of all the attributes of God…..His very own qualities and characteristics meaning we are gods created by the great big El-Elyon.
  • John 10:34  Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
We are not little peons down here with the great big God beyond the blue.
  • 1 John 4:17  As he is, so are we in this world!
We are not pilgrims traveling through this old barren land when The Word of God tells us:
  • Ephesians 2:18-19  Through Christ we both (Jew & Gentile) have access by one Spirit unto the Father.     Now therefore ye are no more strangers (guest/host) and foreigners (alien, by dweller, sojourner), but fellow citizens (native of the same town; fellow-Christians) with the saints, and of the household (means from which place or directive source) of God.
  • 2 Peter 1:3-4   According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Verses 5-7 tell us to add to your faith virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity (love).
  • 2 Peter 1:8  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Barren means not producing anything or being unproductive).   So now you have the facts!!!!
Meaning the corruption of religious order
Colossians 2:8  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ!

B.  Do you have the understanding:  the knowledge of who God is? That is to have an experience or have a close encounter with. Or you’re just one that goes to church to be preached to; or maybe a bible carrier and when you get home don’t pick it up again until next Sunday.
Having the understanding and knowledge of who God is:  This is when you know Him as Jehovah/Yahweh----meaning He is; I the Lord Full of Life.  Then you are literarily taking on His essence (real nature) and His very presence is with you.                                             \
1 John 5:20   And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        And to Know Him and His truths is in The Book of Life which is the Bible, the written Word, made alive and revealed within you, the living Word!!
  • 2 Timothy 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
We must study and not just read it - study every word, even down to the conjunction, and apply it to our lives in order that we will become The Living Word.
  •  2 Corinthians 3:2-3   Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:  ...written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the Living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

God is also known as Jehovah-Shammah; “The Lord Is Here”.  Realization of the I Am Presence Jehovah dwells within His people.
  • Matthew 1:23   Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
  • Matthew 6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
  • Mark 1:15  And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
  • Luke 17:21  Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
  • Romans 14:17  For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
  • John 3:3  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
  • John 3:4  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
  • John 3:5  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
  • 1 Corinthians 4:20  For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

The Kingdom of God is not a future event when Jesus comes back to earth and sets up His Kingdom on the earth.  But the kingdom of God is available to you now.  When Jesus came preaching to the people in his day, he declared in Matthew 4:17,  Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
To use the term that something is at hand in actuality means it’s within arm’s reach.  And because Jesus is the kingdom, He was the kingdom that had come to them.
  • Mark 11:9  And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
  • Mark 11:10  Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
The Kingdom of God is a person who was Jesus Christ.  That’s why Jesus said in Matthew 6:33:

  • Matthew 6:33  Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

The kingdom of God is a person, and if you have Jesus living inside of you, you have the kingdom living inside of you!!  Hallelujah!!
This is why it’s so relevant and vitally important that you/we come to understand who and what the kingdom of God is.  The word kingdom goes back to the Greek (basileia) or if you trace it all the way back to the root word in the Greek, it is (basis) which has to do with the foot.  It goes all the way back to Abraham when God told Abraham to get up and walk up and down through this valley and land.  God said he would give Abraham all the ground he set his foot upon.
I would like to bring this down to more of a contemporary application and something that is very applicable to your life.  Consider your physical body as being that which is earth or that taken from the earth (the old nature or carnal man) which we now are able to put under foot, meaning that which disobeys and that which comes against the Kingdom.  The “kingdom” is the ability to take authority and rule over that “old nature” and bring him or her under subjection to the “new man”, the Christ man”!
  • Colossians 3:9-10  Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
The biggest battle going on now with the church is in the mind; the way you think; it happens in the way your thoughts are carried out.
Philippians 2:5  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.                                                                                                                                                                    Philippians 2:6  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God                                                                                                                                                                    Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
And this is where the enemy attacks so many people - in the mind.  In the battle of the mind is where the kingdom of God has to begin to take over and begin to rule and reign within us.  You see…. your kingdom is in your being, on the inside of you!  This Kingdom is the power that dwells within each of us that we have to use to rule and reign over everything in and around us that is not like God!  And as you come to understand that the kingdom of God is within you, then you and I can begin to walk (live) in this realm!!
  • Luke 10:19  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy:  and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
  • Acts 1:8  Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:  and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Now Jesus in his teaching said the day would come when they would say Lo here or Lo there, or that the kingdom of God is in the desert.  He said don’t go looking for the kingdom there.
  • Luke 17:20  And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

...behold the kingdom cometh not with observation.  That means the kingdom of God doesn’t come with what the physical eyes see.  So don’t go looking for the kingdom with your eyes. Look for the kingdom with your faith.  Look for the kingdom with your spiritual vision!
  • Luke 17:21  The kingdom of God is within you.

Coming to understand the kingdom of God is to understand that the word “kingdom” is applicable to two words - king and dominion which means King/dom!!!  The King’s dominion or domain!!!  The word king in the first part of the word kingdom means sovereign working independent of another.  The word dominion mean to rule; have authority; to reign.  The “domain” is the territory or area over which the King rules and reigns.  So kingdom is a foundation of power!
The Bible declares that it is you he hath raised up and hath made a kingdom of priests unto God and YOU shall rule and reign with Him right here and right now!  (Revelation 1:6): And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father.  (Revelation 5:10): And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on (over) the earth.
So what are you going to reign over?  The thing that is playing in your mind today which you’re upset about!  The thing that you’re troubled about and you can’t figure out how you’re going to solve it.  Turn it over to God today and pray and believe today that God’s going to change your situation and change the way you’re thinking today, and you’re going to thank Him now for the victory.  Start calling your name Victory!!!!

  • Matthew 24:14  And this gospel (good news) of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
The word end does not mean the end of the world or that the world goes up in smoke as soon as the gospel is preached into all nations. The word end is from the Greek word “Telos” or “Tello” meaning to set out for a definite point or goal; properly the point aimed/reach at; the limit; the conclusion; the result; the purpose.
He’s saying that when the gospel of the kingdom is preached, then the goal that God has been aiming at all of these years will have been attained in relation to the church.  That point He has set for us to obtain is for the entire world to know about the power of this kingdom that dwells inside of us, and it is not up beyond the blue. This is put in place so that we all can come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure o the stature of the fullness of Christ in the earth (Ephesians 4:13). When that has been completed, then the goal that God has set out for us to obtain and to reach will have been accomplished!!
Revelation 10:7  But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel (messenger), when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

What was God saying there?
...in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound
When the message that the seventh trumpet sounds; when the message that the seventh messenger carries; when the voice God has raised up to carry the seventh message; when it begins to sound the message of the Kingdom, then the mystery of God should be finished within YOU.
The sounding of this message of the kingdom has finished the mystery for you of who God is and where He is to YOU.  He has brought it to completion.  He has reached the goal.  Not that you have attained it, but you will attain it if you believe “the gospel”.

For the goal that God has set for His people to come to, everyone must HEAR the message of the kingdom as a witness of Him.  All that believe the message of the kingdom - which is the fullness of the power of God within you right now and that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you - are the ones who will attain to this goal of perfection!
Look!!!  God knew that not everyone would accept it or believe it.  But His goal is that they must hear it.  The hearing of it finishes the mystery!  What is the mystery? The mystery that has been hidden from the foundation of the world but is now revealed by revelation of the Holy Ghost to them that believe and receive this truth!  This is the mystery of godliness in you, and the fullness of Christ taking you over and you realizing that the Kingdom of God is “WITHIN YOU, right here and right now”!
He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit of God is saying to the church!!!!

C.  To Know Him - to have an awareness/or acquaintance with Him:
  • That’s when you know Him as Jehovah Shalom - The Lord of Peace:                                                                                                  Job 22:21  Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
  • John 14:27  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Harmony and tranquility (calmness; quiet) derives from awareness of the Christ consciousness.
Didn’t he say He would keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee? (Isaiah 26:3).
Once Jehovah Shalom abides within you, the peace of God will harmonize your whole body structure and open the way to attain perfect health in mind and body.
  • 3 John 1:2  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

D.  To Know Him - to recognize; being able to identify with.
  • Jesus knew who his Father was.                                                                                                                                                                  John 10:15  As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
  • John 10:30  I and my Father are one.
You must know who you are. You are a Son-of-God!!!!
  • John 7:29  But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.
  • 1 John 4:17  As he is, so are we, in this world.
  • Romans 8:10   And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

  • Romans 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

  • Romans 8:14   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

  • Romans 8:16   The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children (sons) of God:

  • Romans 8:17  And if children (sons), then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

  • Romans 8:19-23  For the earnest expectation of the creature (creation) waiteth for the manifestation (appearing; taking the covers off, revealing) of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope; because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children (sons) of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth (calamity) and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first-fruits (tongues of fire) of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption (placing of the sons), to wit (know), the redemption (deliverance, atonement) of our body.

God so wanted to experience a personal relationship with His people that He put on flesh in the person of Jesus to feel what we feel, and yet maintained His identity as God!
  • But for us to know Him, we must know Him by the Spirit through revelation!

1 Corinthians 2:11  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save (except) the spirit of man which is in him?  (Man has his own spirit, but he needs the Holy Spirit to purify his spirit to bring him into the fullness of what God wants him to be and have)  even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
We have got to come to know that we are more than just mere men or mortals.
  • St. John 10:34  Ye are gods!
  • Psalm 82:1, 6  God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
6  I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High”.
  • Exodus 7:1  And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.
Glory to GOD!!!  When the term man or men is used, in many cases, it's not just in relation to the male species but mankind which includes both male and female!  We are gods!  I know that some of you are thinking "What does she mean "we are gods"?
The Word of God means just what it says, we are gods.  St John 4:24 states God is a Spirit but He chose to manifest Himself in man as man.  Jesus was God in flesh form so that made God a man.  In order for God to help man, He had to become what man was or is, which is flesh, but at the same time, He (God) was showing man what He was to become, who was God Himself!  I pray you can receive this!
  • 1 John 4:17  ...as He is, so are we in this world!
Ephesians 5:30 says we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones. So if Christ is the head (and He is) and we are His body, that makes us one body with Him. Then we also are god in flesh form and this is not self-exaltation.
  • Philippians 2:5  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6  who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.

Hallelujah!  Jesus knew that it would not take anything away from God for Him to think Himself equal with God - not above God - because Jesus knew that He was God made flesh!
  • John 1:1, 14  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.

Jesus also knew that God who was “Elohim” was the “Most High”!

  • John 1:2  The same was in the beginning with God.

The same was US who were also in the beginning with God.  As he is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17)!   We are not above God, but we too are Him in flesh form – yet, He (God) retains and maintains His position as Most High, Creator God!!!!

Please keep in mind what Jesus said to the Jews in these verses.  They were ready to stone Him because He said that He was one with His Father.
  • St John 10:32-33  Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?  The Jews answered Him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

Many people today can't handle this truth, but we must.  Jesus said it, and that settles it for me. Praise God!

Now that we have received God's Spirit, we can come to know the things that are freely given to us of God such as, salvation, redemption, wisdom, divine health, eternal life, (which we can have right now) to name a few.
As Paul said, these are things we "speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural or carnal man can't receive the things of God because it sounds or seems foolish to him because the things of God are SPIRITUALLY discerned (1 Corinthians 2:13-14).
When we begin to see as God sees and put on our kingdom glasses, the scales will begin to peel back off of our eyes to allow us to understand the DEEP things of the Living God that He wants us to see and understand.

Now, I’m saying to you, people of God, “DO YOU KNOW HIM?” AND “DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?”
So people of God, “Do you really know Him”; do you actually have the facts about Him?  Do you have the understanding, the knowledge or revelation of Him?  Are you really aware, or have the acquaintance of who He is?  Are you able to recognize Him and His infinite mercies?  Whatever situation or opposition that presents itself before you, just know that God will reveal Himself according to the need!
Just know that nothing can give you a strong tower of security and assurance like KNOWING GOD and WHO YOU ARE”.
  • Philippians 3:10 says, That I may know (be aware) Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
To know or be aware of  “The Anointed One and His Anointing” is knowing and having that dunamis power, that force, that strength, the ability to perform through the Holy Ghost because The Kingdom of God lies within us!!!
