THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!

PROPHETIC SCRIPTURES:

This is the 47th Book of the Bible. It shows Christ as our all sufficiency. It has 13 chapters, 257 verses, and 6,092 words.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (KJV)

17) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 10:1-6 (KJV)

1Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:

2But I beseech you that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

6And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

The word for the body today is: “THIS TOO SHALL PASS!”

How many of us hold to our statement of, this too shall pass?

We faithfully hold to this thought, but it’s not found in scripture.

Well Sister Preacher! If it’s not in scripture, where did it really come from?

There is a very real and amazing truth about our God.

When we open the pages of the Bible we’re not reading the pages, the pages are really reading us.

How many know God’s Word is alive, and it relates to us the character of God.

What we hold on to is the reality that the God we know is going to bring us through the storm, knowing, that “this too shall pass.”

This too shall pass” is a great mantra or phrase that teaches us the power of impermanence (im-pur-muh-nuhns) which means the fact or quality of being temporary or short-lived. And when I say short-lived, I’m not speaking of life because we all know that life is eternal. I’m talking about situations.

I’m saying, the essential idea is that no matter what you are currently going through in life, it’s ultimately temporary and will change.

An English poet Edward FitzGerald entitled “Solomon’s Seal” a request of King Solomon, a sentence that would always be true in good times or bad; Solomon responds, “This too will pass away.”

Jesus the Christ is the blessed Son of God, God in the flesh. Here is what was prophesied by David in Psalm 16:10:

·         Vs10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

David was looking forward to the day of deliverance that was coming to him.  He was giving the steadfast assurance through the deliverance that God will give through Yehoshua, Jesus the Christ, the Holy One.

Think about the hope David had and what that means for us.

Our hope as well as David’s hope is in God in Jesus the Christ! It is the confident affirmation that God is faithful, that He will complete what He has begun. It is also, therefore, that confident expectation which waits patiently and ardently for God’s purposes to be filled.

1 Corinthians 1:9: God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hebrews 10:23: Let us hold fast (keep) the profession (confession/acknowledgment) of our faith without wavering (leaning; doubting); (for he [God] is faithful that promised).  (He’s the one who has kept His plighted faith [promise by pledge], and is worthy of trust)!

Look, God didn’t even allow His Son to see corruption. So does it matter that God would not let His Holy One see corruption? Sure, it does!

Look and listen at what’s stated in the book of Acts13:36-39:

·         36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

·         37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

·         38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man, is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

·         39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the Law of Moses.

Sin came upon this world and there was nothing we could do to remove the stain of sin.

God gave a way to cover the sin to Moses, but the sacrifices were temporary and the stain was still there.

Then the ultimate sacrifice came. Jesus sacrificed Himself, for our redemption, and to wash us from all sin. He did that for US so that we could be Holy.

Let’s take a look back at, Psalm 16:10.

Vs 10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

The idea of, this too shall pass, comes from right here.

God will not suffer His Holy one to see corruption.

Look Paul knew something.

2 Corinthians 5:8: We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Not even death can hold us! Romans 8:33-39

33) Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect (chosen, select, designate)? It is God that justifieth.

34) Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

35) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36) As it is written, “For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We know that through Christ we have life eternal. That’s for sure!

Look people, God already know the trials that we face each day.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

There hath no temptation taken you, but such as man can bear: BUT GOD is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.

I heard an awesome Pastor in God say, “God uses fire to speak to us.” When God does something it is for Him to reveal Himself to us. God has seen the pressure of your battles or fiery trials so don’t think He’s punishing you but only correcting you. And the punishment will cause us to remember. The whole purpose of the heat is to burn out of us any and everything that’s not pure or not like Him.

Look people! God chose what you’re to be subjected to because He was seeing far beyond what we’re going through in carnality.

Romans 8:20: For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

After we pass through the times of troubles and vanities, battling with the carnal mind the mind of man, the physical body of man, God knew He would eventually deliver us from this. He’s shaking the fig tree to see who will be left standing. God has ordered His sons to stand up and take on the personality of Jesus Christ!

It's the going through the rough time that’s going to make you. Just hold on people you’re in the final stages of battles and we have surpassed already through severe times. He said He’s going to bring us into the apocalypse triumphing permanently. This must happen to all Sons of God. You see the religious system talk about it when they don’t know what the word is. They think it is nothing but a time of suffering and sorrow and trouble.  That’s all they can relate to the book of Revelation about the apocalypse not having a clue of what it’s all about. The apocalypse is the revelation or the revealing of Jesus Christ! It is an enlightenment of the manifestation or appearing of Jesus the Christ to us and in us right here and right now!  It is the taking off of the covers of things we haven’t known before, but know now by the Spirit of Truth, who is the Holy Ghost! This is where we will triumph permanently, knowing who we are in God and who He is in us NOW!  1 John 4:17: As he is, so are we, in this world!!

When we understand God’s purpose that we are the express being of Yehoshua in the earth, then we can take our rightful place as sons, ruling and reigning in and over the earth! Hallelujah!

Just give Him a hallelujah!  Give Him a thank you God! Just give Him praise! THIS TOO SHALL PASS!

Will they pass away?  Will who pass away?

James 1:2: My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.                     Temptations is from the Greek word pi-ras-mos’, which is a putting to proof (by experiment of good), experience (of evil), solicitation, discipline or provocation); by implication adversity; to test.

Why would we have Joy in the middle of a temptation?

James 1:3: Knowing this, that the trying (trustworthiness) of your faith worketh (fully that which is accomplished) patience (enduring, continuance waiting).

Vs 4: But let patience have her perfect (complete) work, that ye may be perfect and entire (whole), wanting nothing.

It’s clear that after you go through something, you’re changed, you’re stronger.

This is also God’s way of affirming to us, through James, this too shall pass.

What we’re going through will evidentially come to an end.

The Lord/Jehovah gives us comfort through this.

Psalms 139:7) Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

8) If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

9) If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10) Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

David gives us one of the greatest passages in all literature about the miracle of human conception and birth. David declares that God is present at conception and birth because we are made in the image of God and He has a special plan and purpose for each person who is born.

What is so significant about all these fiery trials coming, and the going, they’re not here to stay only to make us.

That’s our message, God wants you to know it’s not going to last. He’s working purpose.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

All things work together for good to them that love God. Faith does not believe that all things are good, or that all things work well. It does believe that all things (good or bad) work together for good to them that love God.

We find comfort in the bad going away, do we not? So, let’s not lose sight of the fact that Our God came through on our behalf. He worked it out for you and for me!

So, people of God, when it seems like you’re at a crossroad, when it looks like you’re about to give up, when you’re about ready to throw in the towel.

Just know there’s no sickness, demon, devil in the pit of hell that can stand against the sheep, that can stand against the body, that can stand against the sons of God!

Whatever it is THIS TOO SHALL PASS

This Too Shall Pass

Yolanda Adams

In the middle of the turbulence surrounding you
These trying times that are so hard to endure
In the middle of what seems to be your darkest hour
Hold fast your heart and be assured

This too shall pass
Like every night that's come before it
He'll never give you more than you can bear
This too shall pass

So, in this thought be comforted
It's in His Hands
This too shall pass

The Father knows the tears you cry before they fall
He feels your pain, His heart and yours are one
The Father knows that sorrow's heavy chains are strong
But with His strength, you'll overcome

This too shall pass

So set your eyes upon the mountain

Unto the hills which cometh your help
And lift your hands up to the heavens
And let His arms of love surround you
And take you to the other side of through!

This too shall pass

Clap your hands and give God the praise!!!
