Topic: “GOD’S PLAN OF REDEMPTION”! [PT 2]

Text:  Hebrews 9:11-12

“But Christ being come a high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building, neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us”.

GOD’S PLAN OF REDEMPTION HAS DELIVERED US FROM SIN:
  • Hebrews 9:15-28: [Christ’s once for all sacrifice]: (Vs 26): For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world:  but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
SIN is from the root word hamarti’a, meaning, offense :  then it goes to another word, hamartan’o, meaning, to miss the mark (and so not share in the prize); to err, esp. (morally) to sin:  trespass; for your faults.
[To “miss the mark and so not share in the prize, is those not walking in the “high calling” of God in Christ Jesus; not obtaining eternal life now; not walking in divine health; not having perfect peace; not experiencing God’s dominion, authority and power right here and right now]!
Romans 5:12-21: (Christ being the basis of our Salvation):  (Vs 12): Wherefore, as by one man, “sin” entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
“SIN ENTERED”: this doesn’t mean that is where sin began.  ENTERED does not denote a “beginning”!  ENTERED is from the root word “eiser’chomai”, meaning to enter; go; come in; go in; enter in; come; arise / then it goes to another root word “eis”, meaning, “to or into” (indicating the point reached or entered), of place, time, or purpose  as a (result, etc): concerning; for (intent, purpose); to the intent that; of one mind; perish; set at one again; to the end; therefore (unto).
It was through Adam (male & female) that “sin reached or attained its goal”, “for the intent and purpose” of causing them to fall from their “divinity” back into their “humanity”,  or “to sin”, and therefore causing the creation to fall!
Sin attained its goal when it took hold of the “man” Adam (male and female), who had incorruption and immortality in him and dwindled him down to corruption and mortality.
  • Romans 5:17: For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
  • Vs 18: Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
  • Vs 19: For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
  • Vs 20: Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound.  But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
ENTERED in this verse is from the word “pareiser’chomai, meaning to come in alongside, supervene (to come or happen as something additional or unexpected) additionally or stealthily (secretly):  come in privily (privately) [of or concerning a particular group or person; not opened or controlled by the public].
[Pareiser’chomai, means, “to come in” beside or from the side so as to be present with]!
This means, that wherever “good” is, “evil” exists as well.  But don’t give place to the evil, and let “good” overcome the “evil”!
  • Vs 21: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
GOD’S REDEMPTION PLAN HAS DELIVERED US FROM “SIN AND DEATH” (BOTH HAS BEEN CONQUERED THROUGH AND BY JESUS THE CHRIST)!!!
  • Romans 8:2: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of “sin and death”.
Vs 3: For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Vs 4: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
  • Romans 6:12: Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof.
  • 2 Corinthians 4:11: For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
HOW DO WE OVERCOME “SIN AND DEATH”:
  1. THROUGH THE MESSAGE OF TRUTH:
  • 1 Corinthians 15:51: Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep: [that right there tells you that we don’t all have to die]:   but we shall all be changed,
Vs 52: In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:
[TRUMP is from the root word “salpigx”, through the idea of quavering or reverberation (to reecho); and “sal’os, which is a vibration (resound)].
[The “last trump” is not some angel stepping out on a cloud and blowing a “physical trumpet”:  but the “last trump” is a voice that is preaching and teaching the message of perfection, the fullness of God being revealed within His people now, being sounded today by “the sons of God” that the creation has been waiting for (Romans 8:19), that are “reechoing” (repeating) all over the world that:
  • You don’t have to die to go see and be with Jesus:  He is already here, He is already come; He dwells within His people!  (Ephesians 5:30): We are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones!        1 John 4:17: As he is, so are we, in this world.  [Not when you get to heaven, but right here and right now]!!  1 John 4:4: Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
  • You don’t have to die to go to the “kingdom”:  “the Kingdom” is in you!  Luke 17:21: The kingdom of God is within you!
  • You don’t have to die to go to heaven:  you are already in heaven being in Christ!  Ephesians 2:6: And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 15:52: For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible:  (the “dead” are not those out in the grave yard, but those sitting on church pews [or on death row] waiting for Jesus to come back and get them, that haven’t been brought to life with the resurrection power of the REVELATION TRUTH, of who they are in Christ and all they can have right now!!!
This word “RAISED” is from the root word “egei’ro”, meaning, to collect one’s faculties:  to waken, rouse (from sleep, from sitting or lying, from disease, from death; from obscurity, inactivity, ruins, nonexistence): rise; rise (again); awake; lift up; stand; take up).
And we shall be changed:  is from the root word allas’so”, meaning, to make different; to be other than it is; to transform. This means to take on another “form”:  [we’re more than just mere men, but we are God in the earth in flesh form, as Jesus was]!
  • Philippians 2:6: Who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God.
Jesus was God, in flesh form (St. John 1:1-2, 14). (1 John 4:17) “As he is, so are we, in this world”!
[God is man with a body!  That’s “the change”:  Man coming into the understanding that he (male & female) are more than just “human”, but we are also “divine”.  Man is that which is seen of Him who is invisible!!!]
IN REALITY: [this is how God reconciled (propitiated; harmonized) man back to Himself]:                 “By becoming Man in putting on flesh – and at the same time showing Man that he (man) [male & female] is God in flesh form”!!!  GREAT GOD FROM ZION!!!
  • 1 Corinthians 15:53: For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
  • Vs 54: So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, death is swallowed up in victory.
  • Vs 55: O death, where is thy sting?  O grave, where is thy victory?
This doesn’t happen after one die, but it takes place right here and right now while we’re alive!!!
WE MUST BELIEVE THE TRUTH!! [Let’s take a look at what Paul said about that]:
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:10: And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
  • Vs 11: And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
  • Vs 12: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
The word “DELUSION” is from the root word “plane” (plan’ay), meaning, “fraudulence; a straying from piety (godliness): deceive; err; to go astray; seduce; wander; be out of the way].  Also from the word “planos” (plan’os), meaning an “impostor or misleader”!                  Those that fight against “the truth”, God, not the devil, but God will send them someone     (a misleader – impostor), that will tell them what they want to hear: (“a one of these days messages when you die and get to heaven you get what God has for you”)!                                   But those that want the truth, God will send them someone (a kingdom messenger), that will tell them what they need to hear:  (“you are in heaven right now in Christ and can have all God has for you while you’re alive”)!!!
2 Timothy 4:2-4: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Isaiah 58:1: Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.                                                                                              (As God spoke to Isaiah, He is speaking to us today)!
Jeremiah 1:8: Be not afraid of their faces:  for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.               (As God was with Jeremiah, He is also with us today)!
HOW ELSE DO WE OVERCOME SIN AND DEATH:
  • THROUGH THE NEW BIRTH:
1 John 3:9: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him:  and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
  • BORN is from the root word “genna’o”, meaning to be “regenerated” or “regened”!
  • To be “regenerated” is defined by Webster as renewed or restored; spiritually reborn; to cause to be completely reformed.
All this takes place “IN CHRIST”!  That’s why we have to not just “have Christ in us”, but we need to “be in Christ”!
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man BE IN CHRIST, he is a new creature (creation); old things are passed away, and all things are made new.
In other words, we the body of Christ, become in the earth, the total of who Jesus was when He walked the earth!
  • Ephesians 4:13: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
[This happens right here on the earth not up beyond the blue]!
WHEN WE TAKE ON THE “NEW BIRTH”, “DEATH AND SINARE CONQUERED!!!
Why?  Because “sin” brought on “death”!  And Jesus has conquered both through His death, burial and resurrection, and ascension!
I’m not ready to stop, I’m just going to quit for now!  This is so good!!!!
1 John 3:8: He that committeth sin is of the devil:  for the devil sinneth from the beginning.  For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
  • Romans 8:2: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
  • Vs 3: For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.
  • Vs 4: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Anyone that’s just “saved” can “sin”:  but he or she that is “born cannot commit sin”!
  • Romans 10:9: If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be “saved” (forgiven): [not born]!                                                       1 John 3:9: He that is “born” (not just saved) of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him, and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
The “new birth”, “the regening” or “regenerating” process brings us totally into who God is through Jesus Christ and we cannot sin, and with that “death” is conquered!  THIS IS “THE ABUNDANT LIFE”!!!
This tells us that in “God’s plan of redemption”, He has redeemed us, through  the precious blood of His Son Jesus the Christ but it's now up to the sons of God to take our rightful place, so that we can bring those bound by the traditions of men into the total of Christ now by His Spirit!
  • Roman 8:19: For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.
  • Vs 20: For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same, in hope,
  • Vs 21: Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
  • Vs 22: For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.
  • Vs 23: And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption (placing as sons), to wit (know), the redemption of our body.
[Not just our “soul”, but the total man, “spirit, soul, and body”]
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:23:  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul didn’t say “until” the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but “unto” the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ is already here, living in us by the Spirit of the Holy Ghost who is the Father and the Son all in one in us.
The word “unto” means “to or into”, indicating the point reached or entered.   Unto the coming”!  Meaning, the manifestation of His “parousi’a”, or His “presence now” [to be present here], by His Spirit is seen in us!
  • 2 Corinthians 6:16: What agreement hath the temple of God with idols?  You are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them:  and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
  • Ephesians 5:30: We are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
  • 1 John 4:4: Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
SO THE CREATION IN REALITY, IS NOT WAITING FOR JESUS TO COME BACK, {because He has finished the work His Father sent Him to do (John 17:4], BUT THEY’RE WAITING FOR “THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD” (Romans 8:19)!!!
THIS IS ALL IN RELATION TO GOD’S PLAN OF “THE WORK OF REDEMPTION”!!!
SO LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD, “SAY SO”!!!
