TEXT: ZECHARIAH 2:5
“For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a
wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her”, meaning
the Church, the body of Christ!
What does releasing mean? Releasing comes from the Greek word lu’o, meaning to loose, let go, destroy or
untie. Inside comes from the Greek word eotos, meaning within or among. Last
but surely not least fire. Fire comes
from the Greek word pur. Fire in the scripture is often used
figuratively. Like with “the fire” of
God, which transforms all it touches into light and likeness with itself. Let me ask you a question. When there is a fire, does it not spread and
consume everything in its path? And
after it has taken its course, the only evidence left is the soot and the
ashes. Fire symbolizes great dominion
and power. Is not God the all great and
powerful God? He wants us - the people
of God - to have that same burning everlasting fire that He does! But people of God, you must understand that
all fires don’t start off big and powerful.
There are four stages of fire, and you will better understand as I
explain.
The first stage of fire is the incipient stage. During this stage there is no visible smoke,
no flame, and very little heat. A
significant amount of invisible combustion particles may be created. This stage usually develops slowly. Now I know you all are probably wondering
where could she possibly be going with this? But again I say, you will better understand
once I explain. The incipient stage pertains to the “one of these getting up morning”
Christians. Meaning, their vision is not
clear to how close God really is (no visible smoke). “The flame” symbolizing our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ is not at their disposal because they have Him sitting off beyond
the blue (no flame)! Some Christians
even go as far as saying, “God doesn’t need us”. With that state of mind, the chance of
releasing that everlasting fire on the inside of them is a little slim to none
(very little heat)!
The second stage of fire is the smoldering stage. During
this stage smoke is visible, but there is still no flame, and very little
heat. Now this stage pertains to the
“curious Christians”. Meaning they have
heard truth but don’t fully understand it.
So of course they start to do their research because they are now being
introduced to something new and something very unusual (that is when the smoke
starts to become visible); but they are still a little hesitant because of what
they’ve been taught all their lives (no flame, very little heat)!
The third stage of fire is the flame stage. During this
stage a flame is visible; there is more heat; often less or no smoke. This stage pertains to the “break through Christians”. The reason I call them “break through
Christians” is because they have broken through that religious veil that tells
them you have to die to get what God has promised to you (the visible
flame)!
Last but not least is the
heat stage. During this stage there
are large amounts of heat, flame, smoke and toxic gases produced. This stage pertains to the “ON FIRE
CHRISTIANS”! These Christians have
accepted TRUTH, know TRUTH, and can’t wait to tell others about THE TRUTH! That “inside fire” has finally been
released!! The fire then spreads all
over, consuming everything in its path.
The same exact thing happens with us!
Because we already have accepted TRUTH and know TRUTH, we are considered
the “ON FIRE CHRISTIANS”!
HALLELUJAH!!! When we travel to
different church families, that “TRUTH” flame is already ignited inside of us! When we step forth to bring that Word of God,
that is when that flame is released to its fullest potential, covering and
consuming any and every one in its path.
HALLELUJAH!!
Is it hot in here or is it just me? Look to your neighbor and say “release that
inside fire”! People of God, you must
also know that this fire has always
been. Moses faced the fire! The Israelites were protected by the
fire! Elijah called down the fire! The Hebrew boys were delivered while in this
fire! Then at Pentecost there were the
tongues of fire! The fire that God wants
us the Church to release is that everlasting fire! Somebody say “release that fire”! Psalm
104:4 “Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire”. Same fire then, same fire now! “For
our God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews
12:29).
The latter part of 1 John 4:17 reads, “As he is, so are we in this world”, right here!! Somebody
say, “release that inside fire”! So
people of God remember, we must always be ready to release that inside fire at any given point in our lives. On your jobs, release that inside fire! When
you’re feeling down and depressed, release
that fire! When your finances are
just not looking right, release that
fire!
To fully reap the benefits of God, we must activate that
everlasting fire that God Himself has and is!
Remember people of God that “inside
fire” is our protection, our promise from Him! It doesn’t mean that we are free from
difficulty in our lives, but no matter the problem, God is still burning inside
of us! His fire is still ablaze, and it
never goes out! His fire is
eternal! The Lord is rejoicing in your
steps. He is rejoicing as you set your
life ablaze for Him! Don’t lose heart,
and let us stay on our path. He is
ablaze inside you and me!
In closing, I leave you with this passage of scripture, Jeremiah 23:29, “Is not my word like as a
fire? saith the LORD; and like a mighty
hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?"
Somebody say, “RELEASE
THAT INSIDE FIRE”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
