DO YOU KNOW HIM?

Matthew 1:21  "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins".
Matthew 16:13-16"When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, 'Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?'  And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.  He saith unto them, 'But whom say ye that I am?'  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God".  (King James Version)

We see here in the book of Matthew that Jesus made a strong declaration to his disciple, “Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?”  They answered naming some of the prophets.  Then He said unto them again, “But whom say ye that I am?”  You see Jesus wanted to know if they knew Him.  Then Peter answered saying, “Thou art the Christ.”  Right there Jesus blessed Peter because He knew that flesh and blood didn’t reveal this unto Peter.  The great truth came from God the Father - that spiritual idea of man; The Christ of God; The Son of God which is the Divine Mind (God) - had revealed this to Peter.
So as we find Jesus referring to Himself as the “Son of God”, we see Peter also had reached a place in understanding where he realized his relation to Being (God).  In John 7:29, Jesus explains this realization when He says “I know Him: for I am from him and he hath sent me".

Catch on FIRE!!!

Psalm 104:4:  Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire”

We know that fire will cause devastation and will consume any and everything in its path. Fire generates heat and light. It is a result of a chemical reaction called combustion. At a certain point in the combustion reaction, called the ignition point, flames are produced. Flames consist primarily of carbon dioxide, water vapor, oxygen and nitrogen. In order for combustion and fire to occur, 3 things must be present: fuel, oxygen and energy (usually in the form of heat). Now that is in the Natural.

Same God

Ecclesiastes  1:9 (KJV)

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: And there is no new thing under the sun.”

When you read The Bible, it’s not just history or a story book, people of God.  Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning GOD (Hebrew: Elohim-The Creator) created”.   John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was The Word and The Word was with GOD and The Word was GOD”.  Then Revelation 1:8 says, “I am alpha and omega” (meaning first and last).  I said that to say “The Bible is One Book, One Story, HIS Story, Jesus’s story and the revelation of Jesus The Christ”.  God the Creator, Jesus Christ the Son and The Holy Ghost consist of The Father and Son in ONE.
